This was my first visit to their restaurant. We had lunch catered by them a few weeks ago and I liked the food. I heard about the ribs so I had to try them out. I was not disappointed, they were juicy and tender.

I got the rib plate with fried okra and mac & cheese, cheesesteak eggroll & a drink. There was a bit of a wait but I didn’t mind because my food came out piping hot. I sat down to eat and everything looked and smelled delicious. The star of the show was the ribs; tender, smoky and delicious. My Okra was fried perfectly, well seasoned and crunchy. The mac & cheese was full of flavor, cheesy and delicious as well. The service was great and I can’t wait to bring friends and family. They also have Soulfood Sundays so I’ll come check that out real soon! Highly Recommend

Stopped by Big Doon’s BBQ and had a loaded sausage dog. Bun was spread out and a polish sausage split on top covered with grilled onions and bell peppers then hamburger meat in light gravy on top. Very good . Have had bbq on another day and was great. The owner and staff are all very nice. They have many sides also.

I’ve always ordered online, until this past Saturday. Never had issues until then. I don’t know if they were getting ready to close for the day, but I asked for the BBQ sauce to be on the side. They didn’t honor the request. I want to dip, instead of mountains of sauce, soaking up the bread. You can’t eat the bread, soaked in bbq. I’m a plain bbq eater, I love the smoke taste. And the okra wasn’t fried crispy, like they normally do. I spend enough money, to not get it how I prefer to eat it. I may just have to go in, to experience better service. I guess online customers get whatever, by the looks of the other reviews.

Absolute best I’ve had. The ribs were stupid good. The greens were amazing. The potato salad was perfect. The fried okra… please don’t eat it near your mom cause you’ll slap her. I’m serious. They were not busy enough for how good it is. We will be back.

We visited here yesterday from Indiana, and everything was delicious! Everybody was very satisfied with their meals. The customer service was top tier! You order at the register and they’ll give you a buzzer for to gos and if dining in they’ll bring it to you.
Dining space was simple, but nice and had good AC. There were several TVs playing local news and sports.
I ordered the 6 piece wings (hot and lemon pepper) with ranch, fries and a sweet tea. The food was great, fries had good seasoning, and ranch tasted homemade. A lot of people put too much lemon pepper on the wings and make it salty but this was just right. And whoever made that tea knew how to do it – best tea I’ve had in awhile!
I’m glad they serve you in a to-go box already. I was full off 3 wings and fries 🙂 Excited to go back!

We would eat here again. Large variety of menu items. Burgers, wings, bbq, ribs, corn beef, and more. Family of 6 adults cost about $15-18 each. The service was awesome, very friendly.

Gotta lotta family in the Midwest. Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio specifically. This tastes like summer in the 90s in Hyde Park Chicago, like Bike Rides in Gary. The food is impeccable, the sauce on the patty melt with the fries to dip was especially perfect. Not too sweet, not too savory, just the right touch. I can’t wait to try the beef fries on my next go round… WHAT UP THO DETROIT… You gotta hit
