Ryan’s Recaps & Reviews
People: The gentleman who took our order was polite
Experience: We sat in a corner area which had fun decor in it. The pizza was just the right ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings (though my kids said that means there is too much sauce.) They provided complimentary marinara sauce cups, thus increasing the amount of overall sauce in this whole experience. The side salad was excellent, with a good variety of veggies on it.
Do It Again? Will do! My wife and I would gladly come here, and we will send the kiddos down the road to get a sauce less hot and ready at lil Ceasers.

We were just visiting Price for the day since my friend lives near Lake Powell. After looking at the menu we decided to get a pepperoni to try. It was hot, fresh, crispy and greasy! Real cheese, fresh and yummy pepperoni, and the sauce was so good! The young woman who took our order was very patient, friendly, and helpful. We will be returning.

I love their baked Alfredo so much!! I have to say I’ve never been a huge fan of their pizza but it’s good. Their breadsticks are well seasoned and delicious. But their pastas are some of my favorite!! Their Alfredo is always crisped up on top and creamy well seasoned and definitely fresh!

Stopped in at Big Don’s Pizza & Pasta while passing through and it hit the spot real good. Pizza crust was soft with a little crunch, cheese nice and melty, and the toppings tasted fresh, not cheap. Tried some pasta too and the sauce had good flavor, not watered down. Staff was friendly, kept my drink filled, and the place was clean. For the price you pay, you get a solid meal, I’d eat here again.

Service was a big miss. We were the only ones in the place and it took 45 minutes to get our food. We had the classic chicken ranch pizza which was good, the baked pasta with Alfredo that was watery and had to much garlic so that my kids wouldn’t eat it, and a personal cheese pizza that only had cheese on 3/4 if it. I can forgive the 45 minutes as the pizza is made to order but it really should have been closer to 30. The vanilla flavor shot in the soda fountain was out and we asked 3 times but they didn’t seem to care and didn’t want to bother to fix it. They never did get it working while we were there. At $1.59 for a medium sized drink I expect to be able to get the flavor I want. They also seemed put out when we pointed out that they were out of napkins. I quess we could have shared 2 between the 5 of us. The pizza was good, the pasta must have been an after thought as it isn’t even on the main menu board and I don’t think I would order it again. The dinning area is small so it might be hard to get a seat at rush times. We were there at about 12:30 and only saw 2 pick up orders go out so it wasn’t that they were busy.

Just pick up and delivery for the most part but if you want real pizza not just some little Caesars or Domino’s then this is the spot in price. You will not regret getting this stuff. Sauce is awesome and the ingredients are fresh. Highly recommended

I ate here this evening with a friend. I interacted with 3 employees, one was kind and upbeat, the other two were uninterested in our presence. None of them were seen wearing masks. The pizza here is ok. It seems like instead of daring to create their own sauce flavor and crust they opted to avoid any substantial seasoning or flavor at all. They have around 6 tables for dining-in right now. We were the only ones seated for about 30 minutes, when one other dine-in guest arrived, but half the tables hadn’t been cleaned and still hadn’t been addressed by the time we left. Their focus is definitely on the much larger population of takeout orders. At least on this Saturday evening.
The mediterranean salad was great, fresh lettuce, good amount of toppings, enjoyed the dressing! On the pizza, I requested that banana peppers replace the green bell peppers, instead both were present. I didn’t ask for it to be resolved. I found the pizza to be undercooked, the pepperoni was barely warmed, no crisp. The vegetables barely showed signs of baking, and all fell off since the cheese was underneath all the toppings.
The decorations throughout the restaurant are fun, faux fancy italian, and I enjoy the tree room a lot. Most of the chairs are a padded style, but the padding is expired. There is one single stall gender neutral bathroom. That’s great, but it smells like urine. I suspect a new nonporous finish on the floor is very needed. More attentive employees would probably help as well. TP sits on top of the toilet because the dispenser is broken. I don’t like knowing every visitor must handle the roll for use.
They offer only styrofoam cups, and single use utensils, but solid plates. Our total was $30+ for a full size salad and medium pizza. I probably wouldn’t go again, there is at least one other non-chain pizza joint in this little town I’d try first.

We ordered pizza on 2/4/2025 and the Apple Streusel Dessert Pizza had way too much cinnamon on it, it was very hard to eat because all we could taste was the cinnamon.
Otherwise Big Don’s is one of the best places to get pizza in Price, Utah.

Oh yeah baby! This was my first time eating at Big Don’s and I’ll definitely be back! I tried both the pizza and their calzones and they were both fantastic! The best value by far is the calzone. The crust was crispy and savery and the filling was warm and delicious! I’m proud to say I’m fully satiated, both body and spirit, from my experience here today!
