Big Dogs Paradise is a great place! The food is incredible, with their wings and bang bang shrimp being standout favorites. The atmosphere is laid-back yet lively, perfect for a casual drink or a fun night out. The pool tables and cornhole leagues add an extra layer of entertainment, and the DJ nights really get the party going! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like you’re part of the community. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great time in Mechanicsville!

Basically had to put a single or 5 star because I couldn’t go in their liquor license has been suspended was posted on the door. Can’t say it’s really fair to give it that any rating but how can I rate it? Did not stick around to see when the closure would be resolved but hey maybe the owner can reply to this review and get the word out here on Google maps I drove 50 miles to just check it out.

The food here, I’ve been hooked. I honestly order a steak and cheese, wings or a burger at least once or twice a week. Really good fried pickles, moterella sticks, onion rings. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven’t already!

Just tried for the first time today! I ordered for my family:
Chicken Tenders baskets, a steak and cheese sub with fries and they loved it!
I had the dog bite wings. ( best I’ve ever had!!!) I’m picky about wings. I also had the fried mushrooms and those were awesome! I’ve had a hard time finding them…and was so happy to see them on the menu! I wished I had went sooner because we definitely have been missing out! Whoever the chef is you’ve got it going on! Time to go on Hells Kitchen! Lol!

BDP is awesome! Food & prices are always great, Employees are nice & helpful, and the pool tables/ bar amenities are top notch. Fun place to relax, hit up any night of the week & weekends are always a blast. If you need a quick bite to eat or looking to go out for the evening, Big Dogs is my go to spot.

The bartender on that day was not polite by no means, everytime one of us needed a drink, she would say loudly, what do u want, when she should have walked to where we were, and and took care of our needs. I feel she was disrespectful, and instead of staying at the other end carrying on with the guys sitting there, which is fine, as long as she takes care of all customers, we were there for a few hours shooting pool, having a few drinks, and had a delicious lunch. It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we were highly disappointed in her service, but lunch there was fantastic.

Returned still the same. Different faces. I always come during the day so it’s quiet and pleasant. They offer food down which is pretty good they should menu. I tried one evening on thursday but it was pandemonium not my kind of scene But during the day it’s enjoyable

A few months ago husband & I stopped for lunch, everything was delicious & perfectly cooked, service was top notch, great local pub/spot, very clean. Second visit met friends for Monday lunch, all of us had Burger special, added onion rings…again perfect lunch, great interaction with entire staff, will definitely be returning.

Since moving to Southern Maryland it has been a hard time finding great food but Big Dogs Paradise is amazing. I haven’t been to thr bar yet, although I’m not much of a bar person, but their food is absolutely delicious. The staff is hard working and amazing as well making sure to get orders in while bartending and have even ran the kitchen without a cook. My wife can’t get enough of their Santa Fe rolls and we can’t stop going back!
