We came here during a snowstorm and were delighted with the food, drink, and service. They had a very diverse beer selection and a great variety of food ranging from appetizers to pastas. The service was excellent and they had a cute merchandise store as well. The location is very close to the theater district and to various downtown hotels all in walking distance and next to the metro.

I went there with my research group and had a great experience. I ordered the lemon salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. I just felt the portion size was a bit small. Overall, the service was quick, and even on a busy day, we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated.

Pretzel bites were very good. Hey burner wings were delicious. Steak sandwich was great as was the beef weck. The fries were a little greasy and had skin, but more than enough of them. The Service was great.

Out of town for graduation. Our son recommended this place he visited once.
Very nice clean atmosphere,
large dining area with second floor. Great options on menu. Everything we had was generous and delicious. The beer selections were great and the gift shop was nicely stocked.
It was nice to get a small assortment of beers to go .
Our server Randi , was so good , informative and fun.
Definitely would stop in again if in the area.

First visit and will absolutely be returning! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, orders came quickly, food was OUTSTANDING and the prices are pretty decent!

We were excited to find this hot spot in downtown Buffalo. The restaurant definitely had a cool vibe and the server was amazing. We tried a bunch of things including the cheese curds, chili, salmon and Cobb Salad. Everything was delicious! The cheese curds with Marinara sauce were some of the best I’ve had. The Cobb salad was huge and very fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The salmon was very fresh and tasted great with the fingerling potatoes. I didn’t love the chili, but I’m from the south and we make our chili a little differently. If you are in Buffalo, Big Dutch is a winner!

Went with my family and to preface – I have celiac. Breweries are risky and I was accommodated amazingly! I was not glutened and a good GF roll for my burger was good. I hear the beer is great as well. Any other GFs, positive and will go back!

Beer and food is fine. The owner Iskalo Development doesn’t clear their sidewalks and actually blocks passage, forcing customers to walk on Oak Street during rush hour.

Staying at the Embassy Suites and looked on Google maps to see what was around. Wanted some place that also served food. This looked like a place to hit, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. WOW! Beers and food are delicious. Noticed on the TV screen they also have a Sunday brunch. My coworker, who has been all around the country, said the Brueben sandwich was the best he’s had. He wants to come back just for that…and a couple beers! I had the steak fries, very good. This is some place they have here! Here for a few more days and will be back to try more!
