Yummy ice cream near restaurants, bars and camps for when you get the chilly munchies. Great flavors (had huckleberry and salted caramel), old-school walk-up ordering at the window with picnic tables to sit and enjoy the treats.
Can get really busy in the evenings, but liner moves fast and with the wait!

Usually I like this place but tonight was just off. The problem I had was the sundaes were not the best it tasted fine but the toppings were put on the bottom and the banana was just put on the side. I know this is minor things but the presentation of food is important when I get a sundae it should look like a sundae not like ice cream with stuff on the side.

This was a great stop on my sister road trip. We both ordered a cup of the huckleberry ice cream. The ice cream was very good and the service was friendly and quick as well. There were lots of places to sit outside and enjoy our ice cream.

The beauty and style of this place is electrically classic. I’ve never been to an establishment that had so many neon, xenon, and other elemental lamps.

I took three free ice cream cards to the Big Dipper, the cashier said it cost a dollar to get my ice cream in a waffle cone. I was then charged $4.25 and I can’t figure out why because I only got two waffle cones so I’m wondering why I was charged $2.25 extra. Also the ice cream really wasn’t that good. Sadly it was really flavor less and there wasn’t a very good selection either. Definitely disappointed for my first time going there.

Really great little walk up ice cream shop with delicious flavors and great service. My favorite is the huckleberry mixed with white mint oreo and waffle cone stuck on top. The line will definitely get wrong on a warm day and on the weekend, but they move through quickly and orders come out rapidly. Definitely worth a stop and then several after that!

Amazing ice cream. Rich flavor, very creamy texture, I had no trouble finishing off two scoops. I had the Mexican Chocolate and Huckleberry…..so good! The Mexican Chocolate had a significant cinnamon flavor. Great place to add to the bucket list of you are visiting.
There is seating under shade, but maybe hard to find a table if you have a large group on a Sunday afternoon.

Very tasty salted caramel at a respectable price. They do need to work on efficiency. Many folks scurrying around. Still took almost 15 minutes for 2 scoops of ice cream and less than 6 customers when I placed my order. Not good.

I love ice cream, no, I looove ice cream! Whether in a waffle cone or a cup. And having a place that is open year-round is fabulous! The flavor of the huckleberry is great! The staff has been patient, friendly, and as quick as they can be.

My party of 10 (2 families of 5) visited this ice cream shop on a Sunday evening close to 9pm. We were intimidated at first, noticing how long the line was when we arrived. The parking lot is very small, so you may need to find street parking which is what we did. Seating is all outdoors, which adds to the charm. Despite long lines, they moved quickly with two cashiers taking orders. Reviews mentioned that cashiers take your name for orders, but mine didn’t. Each item comes out separately and not necessarily in the order placed. I only noticed one name being called while we waited. All other orders were called by the item. I ordered five items (for my family), but one was missing, though it was ready within minutes of me asking about it. Everything we ordered was delicious and servings were generous!
