The best food but not a lot of friendly people. There is one named Rogetta who is very friendly, welcoming, and smiling. I go here a lot and she is about the only friendly one there. Thank you for showing what real customer service should be. I go here sometimes several times a week because I absolutely love the food.

Big Dipper is a staple in the community. Love the large lemonade, nachos with chili, grilled chicken through the garden and an occaisional banana split. But the BLT, onion rings and an arnold palmer to drink are great options as well. The cheese bites are delicious. But the proportions are small for the price.

We came back into town Friday for the weekend from Florida and I noticed that it’s not a very friendly place but it has great food! Hopefully the women who run it know how blessed they are and they should show it more like BE HAPPY or find the JOY in serving or let someone else do it. Thank you for all you do till next time Florida bound we go!

An incredible historical, nostalgic and delicious place to run your burger through the garden
And the world’s greatest triple chocolate malt shake
You gotta taste this place to believe it

It’s a generational landmark. The food is good, the people are nice, this is basically what a hamburger should be. People don’t really understand, hamburgers are American street food. And this is what it’s supposed to be like. It isn’t supposed to be a steak, it isn’t supposed to be 2 lbs. It’s supposed to be this.
I was coming here in high school, I go there now, mostly with my mom. She loves it. It’s part of the people, part of the folk stories. You’d be surprised how many little family stories people have that involve on their way to the Big Dipper, or something taking place there. And it’s one of the big three places, The old starlight drive places: The Big Dipper, moonlight BBQ, starlight Drive-In (where Kroger’s is, it used to be the local Drive-In).
Point is the food is really good, and the restaurant is part of the community, part of the people.

While waiting in the line, I looked through the glass to see a cook dip the spatula she flipped raw burgers with into a grease bucket. I watched her stir the grease, pull the dripping wet spatula out, and continue to flip more raw burgers with the SAME spatula. Also, the woman named Lois was incredibly rude!! I had to shimmy my way out of the line. I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything after seeing this. Never eating here again!!

Check your order when you order in the drive through. You will clearly state your order which they do not confirm. Once you get back to work from lunch they will argue with you, telling you, you didn’t order something. I will go to wonder whip from now on.

After ordering a decent size order with them in the drive thru I was told “that everything” was in the box. I got home and the ONE thing I wanted was not in the box. I went back a few hours later as I got busy, and it’s on the other side of town I was told that “because I didn’t call there was nothing she could do”

It’s a hamburger drive thru. They have excellent burgers and they are reasonably priced! Great fries too!

Stopped by for supper after work and the food was absolutely fantastic! Then grabbed a large chocolate shake to enjoy while sitting along the bank of the Ohio river. Will definitely be stopping by again! ❤️❤️
