Big Daddy’s Soul Food was previously located at 442 W. Columbus Drive as a restaurant in 2014. We closed the business down due to certain circumstances at the time. Since the pandemic we decided to go a different route since people really don’t eat in as much. So we decided to try the food truck way. Our food consist of fast foods, such as hamburger, cheeseburger, hot wings, chicken wings and fries on a daily basis Monday thru Friday. We also serve breakfast daily. Fridays is our Special day. We serve BBQ every Friday along with a Soul Food dish.

I had the Chicken and Waffles. It came with 3 fried chicken wings that were fresh, crispy, and flavorful along with a big, fluffy, buttery waffle right under them.
Service was outstanding. Given my work schedule I came by well past the time they normally stop serving chicken and waffles on Fridays but they still served me with no problem.
Overall, would recommend. Definitely plan on coming back whenever I get the chance to.

Based on the reviews I was hopeful this food truck was as good as other reviewers stated. To get to this location you ride down a small one-way residential street and when you get there it is not obvious where the location entrance is. There is one small area embedded with old broken glass across the street that is open but not recommended. The food was hot and ready when stated and the lady at the counter was nice but the taste was subpar. The fried wings tasted to be seasoned with a bland seasoning salt and would not what I would consider to be flavorful. The hot wings were overly wet and dregged in a combination of hot sauce and butter. Unfortunately no one in my family liked the flavors of either.

I haven’t ordered from here in a while. I’m excited and happy to see that they’re gaining popularity by the day. I miss them so much that I’m driving there this morning. They’re grits are the BEST. They’re always the right consistency. I requested my toast browned the first time I ordered from them. AND they remember everytime.

This is my favorite place to eat. Best fish, shrimp, and chicken in town. Me n my kid eat here 3 or 4 times a week. Their customer service is outstanding. If there’s a rare occasion that there’s an issue; they call you and address it right away. They deserve more than 5 stars because they’re awesome in every way. Love Big Daddy’s and you will too.

I did a Doordash, actually a few Doordashes. I never ate there, but it must have been good bc I got orders (5 of them) back to back from there. I can say the service was very good. 1 of the orders I did have to wait, but it wasn’t long at all for how busy they were. Also the staff was very friendly.

It’s degrees and as Hades while you wait outside of the food truck for your order. There’s no parking, just a dirt driveway you pull into and if another customer pulls in, you’ll be blocked in – sorry I forget to take a photo for you guys, I guess my brain started melting from the extreme heat. The location isn’t great in my opinion. Otherwise, the family who owns this is very, very nice and the food is amazing!
