This place was amazing! I’ve never had food like this! The lady that took our order made us feel like we were family! So much hospitality it was amazing. They were even gracious enough to let us sit and eat! But the food, my goodness. The best soul food cooking I’ve ever had in my life! The mac-n-cheese, chicken, ox tail, the greens, on and on but the cornbread amazing! Do yourself a favor if you’re in Atlanta stop and enjoy this euphoria in the south!

I’m a Georgia native and had this place for the first time in 30 years of living. My goodness. Real soul food. They season it enough where it’s not too salty. I would add pepper to my Mac and cheese and a little pepper to my greens but that’s it!! I was cussing myself out eating at the same time it was so good!

Great food and even better customer service!! I ordered the bbq beef short ribs with rice, collard greens, and candied yams with a corn muffin and a large sweet tea. The ribs were tender and very savory 10/10, the collard greens were just right but I would like to have the turkey meat that they cooked it with in them next time 8.5/10, the yams were sweet, tasteful, and cooked just right not to soft and not to firm 9/10, the corn muffin was ok but still good went nice with the short rib a little bit of rice and collard greens together but I give the corn muffin a 7/10. And I can’t forget the sweet tea 9/10 it was super good. The customer service was exceptionally good the lady at the register was super nice and she’s originally from Jamaica and helped me with my order and was very patient with me while I was reading over their menu 10/10. The price was fair and I’ll be going back to try their desserts .

The service was fast and efficient. We arrived around twelve noon. The food was hot freshly cooked. I had the Mac n cheese, black eye peas, whiting and collard greens. The fish was seasoned very slightly. The mac n cheese and the peas were ok. The staff were friendly. I was told about this place that everything is good. I would agree it was ok. It was flavorful enough to eat. I enjoyed the cornbread.

I got the Sunday special which is baked chicken and dressing. This food is not good. Don’t let the line trick you like it tricked me. The macaroni cheese was so nasty. It was straight out of the box no extra seasonings or anything. The dressing was sweet. The best thing about my meal was the corn bread muffin it came with. Maybe I got the wrong entree but the sides weren’t good either.

Good spot to grab some quality soul food on the go. I usually get the fried wings but I tried the meatloaf this time. Let’s just say , I’ll stick with the fried wings going forward. Service (the line) moves a little slow at times but overall i recommend.

Big daddy kitchen is not right with that good tasting cooking, it’s tasting like Big Mama in the back kitchen. This is a meal you wont ever forget if you are hungry and greedy. You will be back sooner than you think. Here is the chicken wing plate I ordered w/ the good delicious mac @ cheese and those great tasty collard green top w/that soft good tasting corn bread muffin. Hot sauce included. The bro got the veggie plate looking like the Thanksgiving dinner sides. Big Daddy is a “Order to Go” establishment. Eventhough limited seating is available. The front help greetings are warm and friendly. The place is small with wheel chair accessible but NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. Mask are encouraged but not required. All food are safety prepared by the kitchen staff and served up fresh and deliciously hot. The price is fair with the cost of demand. This place is safe with plenty of parking. This business will be a good investment it’s has good healthy food and excellent cooks. Health score B
