It’s a very large space so we got a table quickly. The waitress was very nice and provided great, fast service! She was very attentive to us and the tables around us. The menu has a lot of options to choose from, and she let us know off the bat what wasn’t available.
We got a pulled pork sandwich, wings, and some corn bread. It was all very tasty and hit the spot. The Mac n cheese was our least favorite, but nonetheless is was good. We definitely would have gone back if we were in town longer.

The food and service here was amazing. I got the pig out platter and was able to try a bit of everything. I really loved the brisket and pulled pork. We split it between 2 people and still had leftovers.

Greatest Barbecue in the world. I have never had ribs as good as these. Best barbecue in Alaska by a mile. The ribs had a crispy crust and a juicy interior with delicious sauce. Texas toast was a hit too. Brownie sundae is big enough to split and only $10. Food comes out fast. Service was great, everyone was really nice. This is the only restaurant that I go to on a regular basis because of how great it is. Tuesday is rib night, I’ll see you there.

PRO TIP! The pig out platter can serve 2 people or more. We both got this platter and could not even eat half of it. Save money and split it! Our eyes were larger than our brains at the time. We even had the burnt ends as an appetizer and still overestimated our stomach sizes. However this place is GOOD. I’m from the south and this place is better than some southern BBQ restaurants. The sauces are good, the sides are good and the meats are better. My favorites were the brisket and pulled pork. We tried our best to finish it all but had to take 70% of it with us. Definitely recommend to any big meat lovers out there who want a taste of the south!

The last two times my husband and I have gone to this place the food was not the best. We always get the pig out platter to share, the meat was dry and not even hot it was barely warm, the coleslaw tasted sour and the Mac and cheese was clumpy and cold, that was the time before last, this last time, the Mac and cheese was the same but added foil to the mix and the slaw was better tasting but we found a paper tab mixed in it as well, the meat still luke warm and dry. The queso my niece got was clumpy and again warm not even hot, like it had been sitting there all day, not enjoyable at all. However the waitress was amazing, great attitude and very attentive, it’s not her fault the food sucked. So if your looking for luke warm, dry food with objects in it and a great waitress for conversation then this is the place for you. I prefer hot good tasting food minus the foil and paper. Another good note they have good beer.

The brisket is some of the best I’ve had, but not the best. However, bbq in Alaska can’t be choosey. I once heard someone say that the sides make the bbq joint and if that is the case then this one is top notch. Best baked beans I’ve ever had. Second best collards I’ve ever had. Service was great. Brisket came out cold and we casually mentioned it and she jumped into action and replaced it with some large hot pieces. So much food that I took half of it with me.

To call this BBQ would be a stretch. My expectations weren’t high for BBQ in Alaska, but they weren’t this low. Food presentation was nice, but no smoke rings on anything, or even a hint of smoke flavor. I had the pig out platter and added some burnt ends for good sampling. The burnt ends were not burnt ends, they were simply chunks of bland brisket covered in BBQ sauce. Brisket was bland and more fat than meat. Turkey was super thin and dry. Pulled pork was actually pretty good. Turkey was terrible, bland and dry. Chicken was the worst I’ve ever eaten, the seasoning was just awful. Smoked sausage was ok. Ribs were very bland and dry. We had the BBQ beans and Mac and cheese as sides and they were pretty good. Really disappointed that nothing actually tasted smoked, it all tasted like it was made in an oven.
On the bright side, this place has a really cool environment. The eating area and restrooms were super clean, staff was super polite and attentive.

We are visiting from Tampa and have had BBQ all over America so when we saw that Guy Fieri said this place is on point we decided to check it out! He was right! Our favorite was the brisket, sausage, pulled pork and ribs! Even the baked beans were done right. The chicken was a little dry but the turkey was surprisingly good too. The service was awesome! Very attentive, sweet and quick service! Loved the bar area too. Overall it was a good place to stop by and hang out before we went back home.

While traveling alone in Fairbanks area on Thanksgiving I was advised by a local to go there for a Thanksgiving dinner since all the places were completely booked.
The dinner was FREE of charge as a part of giving in to the Fairbanks community!
Was so nice to seat at the same table with locals and visitors alike.
The thanksgiving spirit at its finest!
Will visit again when have a chance for sure!

10 outta 10 bbq joint. Homemade sides and delicious choice of meats. Everything we ordered was a win! Guy Ferrari has also visited this place. Don’t miss out on your fairbanks trip and give them a try! They also support the military and give a military discounts for those who served/serve.
