A 10/10 pit stop on my road trip back from Panama City Beach. It was my first time trying catfish and it exceeded expectations. The baked beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. The pork, slaw, and mac n cheese were also incredible. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. A meal I’ll never forget. Don’t drive past this spot without grabbing a bite, it’s more than worth it.

Excellent place to grab one of the biggest and best burgers I have ever had. Bama Burger!! And the potatoe salad is amazing. Everything is grilled or smoked right outside. A nice little eating area. I highly recommend this place. Very welcoming owners , feels like a family gathering with incredible food. Just South of Vernon on Hwy 79 on your way to PCB.

So good it made me wanna slap my momma!! Great customer service, very little wait time. The food was hot and fresh! The baked beans were worthy of an award. Only thing I would change is perhaps they could serve those beans in a bigger bowl and make them into there own entree! Got the pulled pork sandwich and it was out of this world. Packed with flavor!

This is hands down THE BEST bbq place there is period. I ordered the Jumbo Beef Brisket and was in pure heaven. I’ve traveled from Wisconsin to Florida and tried many bbq places included a good handful in TN and none of them are better than big daddy’s bbq in Vernon. This place is so good I had to go back again the next day just to try the jumbo pork which was also the best smoked pork I’ve ever had.

As a born and raised Texan I can say I’ve tasted some pretty great bbq in my life. BUT the tastes that I got today were so incredible! I tried the brisket, chicken, pork and ribs, all were delicious! Husband and wife owned business are doing a fantastic job!

Fantastic some of the best brisket and pulled pork my wife and I have had. Very friendly service and big portions too. I’ll try to stop by again next time we pass through. My kids got the chicken nuggets, and I love places that don’t cut corners on kids meals. This is one of those places, the nugget were fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend Mac and cheese and the okra if you’re getting sides.

This was amazing bbq. It was by far our best meal in Chipley. Mr Mason, “Big Daddy” has bbq in his dna. He learned from his grandpa who had his own restaurant, and now serves his own delicious smoked meats. This is a good family business that I will definitely visit every time I am in Florida. His sweet granddaughter rang me up with a beautiful smile, and is hopefully learning her grandpas secrets to keep that delicious bbq alive for generations to come. Thank you Big Daddy. It was a pleasure meeting you and eating your delicious bbq!!
