What a great place! It gets busy on Fridays. I assuming because the food is above average. The owner and staff are great. It’s a small local business not a fast food drive through.

Stopped by today for a few beers and a quick bite to eat and overall it was fine. I tried a few different beers which was fun but it is disappointing to have to pay for a sip of beer to simply try it. In addition, as a fan of stouts and darker drafts, they almost always come out super foamy which is incredibly disappointing to pay like $6 for a glass of 70% foam. In any case, they do have a large selection from many different local and more popular brands. The food was fine, I had the nachos which were actually fairly good for the price. In terms of service, there really isn’t much because you do everything yourself outside of the cook that was there. I’d consider coming back but probably try to stay away from foamier beers.

This place has the best burger creations I ever had. Small and comfortable. Burgers are cooked to order. Love is a big ingredient in their food. Not to mention, they have beer fountains with different types of lagers, American beer’s, etc. Located in the Christopher newport area of Newport News. I don’t have one complaint, the food is amazing, they have a gluten free bun for their burgers! They have so many choices for beers, ciders and wine. I absolutely love that all of the beer options are unique and not just big name beers, I am from Mississippi so I was shocked when he had abita springs which is from Louisiana. The owner Mike is so informative and nice, I will definitely be a regular!

Burgers were unique and tasty. Beer was a walk of options. Ciders and wines were limited but tasty. Taters are top notch.

Went today with the wife. We were both surprised by it. The guy at register was helpful and explained everything to us about how it works and what to do.
They have 3 wines on tap.
We ended up getting food and we both were shocked how good the burgers were. My wife had bacon cheddar burger and I had house burger.
They had darts to play and I seen others playing connect four.
Had tvs also for sports or whatever they decide to play.
Will definitely come back.

Very friendly workers that were willing to help and answer any questions. Plenty of beer options and 3 wine options. Beers of all kinds. They did have food, but it was more of a fast food option for a higher price. That’s why I rated 4 stars. A regular burger was $12. Very lively atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, very nice experience and will be going back for the beverages, just not the food

Love the atmosphere as it was very laid back and relaxing. The service was amazing as the owner himself took plenty of time to explain their system and was very patient in answering our questions. More than 40 beers to choose from and we loved how each one was paid for by the ounce. This way you could sample as many as you wanted and not spend a ton doing it. The food was delicious and very filling. Definitely enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back.

The vibe was really laid back and casual. Tons of board games and seating. It was able to accommodate a larger party of after work get togethers or a one on one meetup.
I really enjoyed the selection of beers that were available. The “pay for what you pour” needs to be more popular! Beervana offered different sized glasses to use, that way you could sample or if you found the beer you loved, pour yourself a pint.
For the actual hidden gem!! The burgers! The cook knocked it out of the park. Stuffed burgers! Cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. With a wide variety of what to pick, how could you not find something you like.
Let’s not forget how friendly all the staff were. They did an excellent job explaining how the pour for yourself works and detailed instructions on what types of beer were offered.
