Generous portions, great prices, respectful waitresses who are very very hard working and the food is great. ***Plus*** the best bacon I have ever gotten in a restaurant anywhere in the country…from border to border and coast to coast. I stop by often when in the area if it is before 2PM.

We have been stopping by for breakfast since the new owners took over. Up until last weekend the food was good. This past weekend we went and the food was dripping in grease and smaller portions than what we used to get. The price stayed the same. Too high price for little portion of food and way too greasy.The wait staff is very nice but not attentive. I noticed different cook’s from the times before.

Love this place a great find. The gator and taters was absolutely delicious! The fried pies borth the peach and cherry makes me want to try them all. The staff was super nice and very helpful. This is a destination for local flavors.

Food was good. I had the special which was meatloaf , 2 sides and a roll for 10.99. Ample portions and tasted great. My son had chicken fried steak, not so good. It was one of the frozen pre-made chicken fried steaks. Neither one of like those. But, overall was a pleasant experience. I will go back. Nothing fancy and they close at 2 pm, so limited on hours and the menu is limited. Worth trying it out, though.

My sisters and I were traveling through on Wednesday, March 19, 2925, on our way to Springfield, MO. I had a plane to catch after our first ever Sisters Trip. Due to severe weather, my flight was canceled and rebooked to the next day. Big Daddy’s was a great experience on a less than great afternoon. My older sister had the pork chops and said it was one of the best she had ever had. My coconut shrimp were yummy, not too sweet, and perfectly cooked. Our younger sister had the French dip, and it was also great. We all thought the onion rings were delicious! We were shown an unexpected kindness by a local, and I will pay it forward. A great hometown feel!
