Terrible experience. We used to have three Big Chickens in our town and they closed. My kids have missed it a ton so while traveling to LA, I looked to see if they had one. Yep, found one in Baton Rouge, adding this to our trip was a huge waste of time. Ordered milk shake (on the menu) no ice cream the told me. Tried to order a platter with sweet potato fries (my personal motivation for going here) no sweet potato fries. Ordered tenders and asked for honey mustard, out of honey mustard. I could have gotten past these things but the employee working had a terrible attitude and was rude. Wearing a mask you could barely hear her whisper behind and got annoyed when I had to ask her to repeat it. Additionally, no ice in an ice machine and dirty tables while we were the only guests around. Food itself was stadium quality at best. Do not recommend.

You shouldn’t feel like you’re asking for a favor when you place your order, employees are completely uninterested in being there.
The sweet potato fries were what set big chicken apart from Raising Canes. Now it’s just mediocre, overpriced & overrated with the same menu as EVERY other chicken joint.
Very disappointed.

Cool new place in Baton Rouge owned by Shaq. Of course Shaq was going to bring his franchise to BR, it’d be sacrilegious not to. This place is located in The Queen Baton Rouge casino complex (not in the actual casino so guests of all age can enter Big Chicken). The customer service was great. As a new restaurant the manager was definitely on his game to make sure everything was up to standard. I hope this remains their way of service once the “new car smell” wears off. Businesses, as we know, get complacent over time. The food was delicious. Pricey-ish but I was satisfied with my food. I live in New Orleans so I can’t come here often but I must say, when I’m in the BR area I would definitely come back here.

Finally got a chance to come in here and try out Shaqs Big Chicken restaurant and it did not disappoint. First of all, the staff are super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Plus once my food was ready they brought it to my table with a smile. Excellent service. I ordered the Uncle Jerome’s Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Quite a bit of kick to it. Especially for someone who loves spice. The fries are thin and crunchy and pair perfect with this sandwich. Top it all off with a cherry coke and you can’t go wrong. Make it a point to come by here just to get some good if you’re downtown. Well worth it.

Not Worth It! I have had BC on Carnival Jubilee and it was amazing. This place is a joke. Staff looked dazed and confused. Falsely advertised BC fries and got some generic fries and burnt chicken ! Not worth the drive or money!

Works nice but the food not to good. Chicken sandwich cold. Coleslaw nasty. Mac and cheese disgusting. Fries are good. And the dipping sauces are good. I’ll never come back

The latest Cobb salad that I had purchase.
The bold was half filled and I did not appreciate that. And it also having man in the kitchen talking all the time and trying to tell the cashier how to ring up Food which is not his business so some things in need to change $12.00 4 a salad & the bowl is half filled is unacceptable so I might Have to go and get a salad from inside the casino.
Which gives you more for your money.

Very good flavor but my chicken patty was so thin I couldnt justify the high price. It seemed like less than half an inch thick. 10 bucks for just the sandwich add 5 is you want fries and a drink at least the fries were a good portion. For what you pay I’d go to any other fast food spot
