Been wanting to try this place for a long time and then stumbled upon it today. I was not disappointed. Food was hot and fresh and service was fantastic. Rick, the guy working the Register and lobby was fantastic with recommendations and overall service. Lucky to have a young guy like him working so hard. Food was great, french fries were nice and crispy like I like them and the chicken sandwich which was wonderful. There are many versions so I will be back!

I would give this place a two star review just because the cashier was nice but I am so disappointed in this place it’s one star. Was excited because endorsed by Shaq. This place gives him just negative pr.
I spent $15 on this sandwich. Not only did they not put the onion rings on it look how absolutely sad this piece of chicken is. The thinnest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen. I was still hungry after leaving here and spent $40. Also the meal doesn’t come with a fountain drink….WHAT DID I SPEND $15 FOR THEN?? Absolutely no value found here. Go look at my reviews I’m usually very supportive of companies but this place was such a bad experience.
Also the owner/cook was watching me from the back like he personally chose the thinnest piece of chicken for me and wanted to see my disappointment.
Well hope you’re happy will never be returning back here and I’ve never had negative connotation to shaq but there is a first for everything. Shaq is supposed to be about bringing value to the people. This is the exact opposite of that. L chicken place shaq

I give it two stars based solely on the kindness and attentiveness of the employees in this individual establishment. If they had not been kind, I would have given it a one star. The chicken is not particularly flavorful, despite getting a sandwich with plenty of toppings. The bbq sauce is just refrigerated sweet baby rays. It’s wildly overpriced, the “meal” does not come with a drink. It’s $14 for 3 strips and fries but no drink. The fries are not seasoned, you have to do that yourself. There are so many other chicken places in the area that are both cheaper and better. The quality and price are just not there. Customer service is an A plus though.

Happen to be in the area and was absolutely starving!! I thought this was actually great time to try out Shaq backed Big Chicken. The store, spotless! Employee’s, GREAT!! Why was there not a soul in the place during the lunch hour? Location is challenging at best, by the time you realize the store is here you’ve most likely passed it and the intersection is harrowing to try and double back and it may not be worth it, I’ll let you decide. Let’s get to the food: I ordered the original sandwich meal and it’s was ALL way, way toooo salty, just from the chicken to the fries, salt, salt, salt and its a shame because the chicken was a nice thick breast, juicy and tender but I couldn’t get past the 3rd bite and the fries….I love salty fries but this was overwhelmingly salty also a shame because the fries were fresh, hot and crispy but holy salt shaker. I can’t recommend this to anyone unfortunately.

I’ve only eaten here once but there was basically no wait and the food was pretty good. We got the larger portion and it was sufficient for both my wife and I. Their sauce is pretty good as well.

My husband and I stood in line for over an hour, and it was definitely worth the wait, to be part of the Grand Opening for the first Big Chicken in Florida! We drove over 45 minutes to check it out!
Lucille’s Mac N’ Cheese is amazing,and you might need to order more than 1 portion to fully enjoy it. It’s so delicious, and tastes very homemade. The franchise owners “don’t know” the recipe, but it’s in my top 5 now! This is a good recommendation for vegetarians.
Wheelchairs are able to roll onto the sidewalk easily, but the front door has to be physically opened, and there is no automated open feature.
Tight squeeze for the seating areas with tables and chairs, but can be easily modified to accommodate a wheelchair. The staff is very helpful, and I would presume they’d happily move chairs for those in wheelchairs, or those using walkers (I saw a table was able to accommodate a walker today).
Speaking of the staff — they are extremely attentive! They approach the tables to take away trash and order number stands, and seem happy to assist. The franchise owners (and maybe investors) and managers were so involved with the Grand Opening, and it was such an exciting event! They said they were thankful for us coming today, and they seem to have a very cool thing going!!

Chicken is solid, but the customer service was amazing. Rayna I believe that was her name. Light skin lady with braids she was amazing knew everything about the menu. She provided excellent customer service. She made my experience so much better would definitely come back.

Enjoyed my first visit to Big Chicken. Ordered the original sandwich which was very tasty. I liked the BC sauce and the pickles.
Excellent customer service! Manager came out and introduced herself right after we sat down. Three different employees stopped by to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. Appreciate the friendly and quick service.

Decided to give another chicken place a try. It feels like chicken places are everywhere, but we were in the area and hungry so why not? My boyfriend got a very run of the mill chicken sandwich with cheese and mushrooms- I can’t remember the name of it because it wasn’t that impressive and pretty basic stuff you find anywhere else at other chicken places. I got the El Shaquito and we both got “meals”. The meals do NOT include drinks and drinks are like $4 so two meals with two drinks came to just over $30. Mine was original and delicious and I would definitely have it again given the option. However, there’s nothing so impressive about this place that I would go out of my way to have it again. This particular location also didn’t have their bathroom up to par even though it was signed off 30 minutes before our arrival that someone had tended to the bathroom. There was no tp and no paper towels. I was stranded in their bathroom while my boyfriend waited for the staff to find some and get it to me. Overall, if you want to try it out it’s worth a shot just make sure you get something unique you wouldn’t find at most chicken places, like the El Shaquito.
