I stop there for a meal every time I am in the area. They have a breakfast buffet with all your favorite breakfast foods. During this visit, my wife, friends, and I stopped for lunch. We all enjoyed (too much) the lunch buffet. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner. The staff are both friendly and hard working. I highly recommend a stop here for some good home-cooked food.

Great service, great food, and even better prices. My husband and I walked out full and happy while spending only $25 (which included a 45% tip). While the $12.99 buffet was tempting, we weren’t that hungry, so we ordered from the menu.
Their gravy is just right. I could have eaten it like soup! The bacon was perfectly crispy. The home fries were cooked just right. They weren’t greasy or left in the fryer too long like most places. And the biscuit was a soft, buttery delight.
It’s clean, open, and decorated just right. Zero complaints from our visit. Don’t pass this unsuspecting spot!

It was so good! The sweet tea was amazing! Staff is so quick and caring. Food was delicious. The burgers were perfectly cooked and just like Mama made. Definitely go here on your way through! We went for dinner and came back in the morning. We ordered off the menu but the buffet looked amazing as well. Very affordableas well, spent right at $20 both meals for 2 people before the tip.

Very reasonably priced, lots of yummy food! Husband and I both got pancakes. Our server Aubrey was awesome, she kept the coffee coming. Highly recommend for breakfast! We will be back.

Horrible food. Mostly boxed or canned food. Mashed pototoes were boxed potato flakes and watered down badly. Fried chicken was so over done and dry. 5 lunch.buffets 87 bucks and told the lady the food was terrible and showed her the one plate that I had, and it was uneaten and she responds, “This is a typical Wednesday..” so obviously she knew that the food was bad on wednesdays.
This restaurant is definitely trying to cut their food costs back, every other time we’ve went, it’s been okay atleast it was edible, but today, none of that food was fit to eat.

The main reason I am sharing my review is because the previous reviews were all negative and from my perspective are not valid. This restaurant is always full of local people, which says volumes.
This little cafeteria style restaurant is budget friendly, and has home cooked food. They have a regular menu, but most people prefer the buffet. Dinner price is $11.99!
You cannot beat it! The food is typical to the area. The restaurant is clean, and organized. The staff was friendly. All in all we had a very satisfactory experience. It’s worth the stop. Good food, good price, good service! Enough said!

From the second we walked in we felt like family. The staff was all smiling and welcoming. It’s clean. And the buffet was delicious and well stocked. Plenty of handicap parking as well.

We went over to Newport from Gatlinburg on Jan 1 looking for New Year’s Day meal. Had the buffet hog jaw, black eyed peas, collards, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, cornbread, Nice Plate of Salad and upside down pineapple cake. The lady that showed us our table was friendly. Our waitress was nice and had the sweetest country voice. She made us feel like we were a regular customer and it was our first time but will not be our last. Next time in town we will be back to enjoy another great meal. Tell Mark & Digger we said Hey
