I went in at 7:10 pm after going off duty a 14 hour shift at work thinking that I’ll be able to sit down and eat seeing that Google says that they close at 9 pm. Instead I was greeted with we’re closing at 7:30 tonight and we’re mostly out of everything. I was disappointed to say the least but after driving all day for work, I didnt feel like driving anywhere else and decided to just order one of the sandwiches that they had available. The sandwich was good, hence the 2 stars. Another unprofessional thing I noticed was there was a worker parked in the back in their car bumping very loud music smelling like weed. Overall, for a first impression, I’ll never spend my hard earned money here ever again. Then to top it off, they asked me if I wanted to leave a tip as if they were deserving….Never again.

Exactly how I remember it as a kid! We drove a ways to get here for nostalgia because the last one in my area closed up about 15 years ago. This is exactly how I remember it, the food was great, and we will definitely return!!!

Move over, Ronald — the real Big Mac lives here, and his name is Big Boy.
Stopped by Frisch’s Big Boy on a road trip through Ohio and left with a belly full of greatness and a newfound respect for burger history. This place isn’t just slinging burgers — it’s preserving a legacy. The Big Boy burger? It’s like the Big Mac’s cooler, older brother who never sold out. Juicy patties, crisp lettuce, special sauce that actually tastes special — it’s everything McDonald’s wishes it could be.
You can taste the difference: the buns aren’t squished, the meat has flavor, and the vibe screams retro Americana in the best way possible. It’s like biting into the 1950s, minus the Cold War paranoia.
The cherry on top? They didn’t skimp on the fries either — golden, crispy, and seasoned with the tears of McDonald’s chefs realizing they’ve been beat.
This place is a national treasure. Protect it at all costs. Big Boy walked so the Big Mac could run (straight into mediocrity).

I came to Big Boys because I heard so much about it, people talked so nicely,so I decided to give them a go. Well the funniest thing there wasn’t really many people there but it wasn’t until another lady came out the back before the other employees even acknowledged that I was standing there even though they had clearly noticed my presence. Not to mention that I was placed at a table and told someone would be over, however, two ladies came in after and where seated and treated as VIP and was attended to right away. When I got my food, I was given my bill before I could even bite into my food. This made me feel as though I was not welcomed. To be quite honest I might have to rethink this place for future options. The food was okay, but I was looking for a better experience.

Love love love Bobs big boy!!! Never disappoint us! Just love the sauce too! Our waitress Ariel is the kindest & friendly waitress! Very efficient! We had her a couple of months ago and she was fantastic! We went back today to celebrate my birthday and she made it so memorable! She is truly a Gem! Thank you!

Tried for first time . Burger was good . It’s the perfect place for affordable, consistent American comfort food.

Ronnie and Marge took good care of us. The food was excellent, there is nothing like a fresh Big Boy burger and fries after church. Ronnie was so attentive to us that she even had the chef cut the burger we shared in half and played them separately for us. Willie was cute in his red! Thank you for the excellent service!

The food was excellent except for my underdone eggs. The big boy sauce was exactly as remembered for many moons ago and I even bought a bottle for home. My country fried steak that hash browns were perfect. Eggs were over easy I don’t like runny whites but that was the only issue. Our server, Tina, was exceptional. The first person to ask if we wanted a table due to mom’s use of a walker. That started things on the right foot and she just continued in that manner. Kudos.

I’m biased, I grew up on these burgers! This location has been a spot even my parents went to as teenagers. They’ve had their ups and downs over the years, but always overcame any issues! The best double decker sandwich and the big boy sauce is the best! They have great milkshakes and pies too! One of the very few left in Ohio, please support them! I don’t live that close anymore, but try to patronize this location as often as possible!

First post – There is a manager Bry who cooked my food a few times going here. My food is usually prepared to order and the waitress Kay is very friendly and patient.
Edit – Came today 2/13 to learn they fired the cook Bry. But still have the drunk manager working . I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks
