For takeaways, they use ventilated packaging to keep maximum crispness…very smart and thoughtful. Chicken katsu over rice also delicious.
Bubble tea very tasty and refreshing. Boba pearls are fresh and soft. Will be coming back and will highly recommend.
Parking is a hassle but can find some around the block.
I wanted to like this place sooo bad but it’s a No for Me . The customer service is great; very friendly staff. The food however is not as promising as it appears. My fries were cold, like they weren’t freshly made. The flat wings were great but the drums did not take the seasoning and was very bland. The corn dog had no cheese. I was charged $0.50 for the sauce even though I took it on the side and not on my wings. The spicy crispy chicken wrap was my fav but it was definitely not spicy. Very pricey for a fast food place (total $25.54 for what’s pictured) and I’m just not sure it’s worth the price.
Extremely disappointed with this food. It’s literally garbage because it’s not fresh. The packaging is just little bags that they staple so even though the restaurant is less than 2 miles from my house, there’s no way the food will even be warm. Fried food in paper bag, inside a plastic bag—everything was wet from the condensation.
If you can get to a BonChon, they are the best Korean chicken. Pelicana second best. This place is a big no for me. Nothing worse than spending $30 for garbage.
Oh, and the egg rolls are the tiniest egg rolls I’ve ever seen. With both ends of the egg rolls burnt it comes out to a one bite egg roll because you can only eat the middle. But you won’t want to eat the middle because it’s stale and just nasty.
Edit: went back. Don’t get the brulee boba. but the brown sugar is really good too!
Service was friendly and I was immediately greeted. The spot appears to receive a lot of foot traffic from the nearby school(s).
I ordered their chicken sandwich combo with sweet potato fries and a soda. I wanted to try their tea, but wasn’t ready to pay the $2 and bring my lunch price to $15+.
The sweet potato fries were not good at all. Had I not drizzled a generous amount of ketchup on them they would’ve ended up in the trash. They were hard and bland.
The chicken sandwich was oozing a creamy white-ish sauce that strangely provided no flavor. The crunch of the chicken was great, but the texture was mixed. Some bites were juicy and some bites had the hardness that I’ve experienced in freezer burnt meat. I eventually grew tired of the bun, lettuce, and tomato sliding all over the place and ate most of the chicken sans the other sandwich ingredients.
While struggling to enjoy the final bites of my meal I did some quick mental math and realized that the combo is actually more expensive than ordering each item individually. Before tax the combo is currently $13, but the three items purchased individually come to $11.50. The employee that I spoke with tried to explain that some items have different prices then said that the manager is responsible for pricing.
I’d return, but only for a beverage.
