My suggestion to the restaurant would be to put a huge sign at the end of the road letting visitors know they are there. I’ve been working here for 2 months and just found the restaurant. I wish I’d known about it from the beginning. Let me start with the service. The service was spot-on. Our waitress was not overbearing yet she was not elusive. She kept our glasses full and made sure that we were okay during the entire dinner. The food….. The steak was cooked to perfection exactly the way I wanted it. Do yourself a favor, if you decide to dine here, don’t touch the steak sauce on the table. It would insult your steak greatly because the flavor is all inside. You do not need steak sauce to dip the steak in. You can thank Lance for that. Upon asking questions about the place since it was so good we learned that the cook is named Lance. Lance has the art of cooking a steak down to perfection….. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The toppings for the baked potato they bring out are neatly put in a carousel so you can put the amount of toppings you want on your potato. The salad was great. The bread was good. One thing I absolutely love about this place is on each table she has a pair of reader glasses tucked away in a goblet. I’ve went to restaurants before and left my readers at home. This was something that really struck me as ingenious. To think about customers on that level means that your food will damn well be good. And it was. I can’t wait to visit again.

The bread was so good, served warm with a nice soft butter. We had the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Both were really good. Green beans were seasoned very well. Sweet tea was too sweet. We will def be back to try some of their appetizers and their steaks. They have daily specials on weekdays.

First time I have ever been here. I ordered cheese sticks for appetizer and pepper puppies!! Loved them!! I got the coconut shrimp plater with a baked potato and green beans. The shrimp were delicious and so was the potato! My green beans were a bit on the salty side bit still good. My husband ordered the NY strip and said it was amazing!! And my daughter had a cheeseburger and fried and she cleaned her entire plate!! It was well worth a stop and would definitely eat there again!!

If I could I would give them 10 stars. We are on our 20th anniversary trip and decided to stay in Cameron on our way! So thankful we did. Chicken fried steak was amazing!! The service was fantastic! Thank y’all!

Excellent customer service! Owner/Manager very nice. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice decor and lots of room. Our food had an awesome. Set-up. Only recommend trying a steak vs the chicken fried steak.

12oz Ribeye looked like an off cut. Ordered it medium rare, came out medium to medium well. All the steaks except for one were overcooked. Everything else was great.

Nice bar & restaurant, steaks a bit tough for my liking, hamburgers are good. No caesar salad. Service slow on a Tuesday. The others in my party had steak & grilled chicken & were very pleased. It was a little busy for a Tuesday, stretching the one waitress a little thin.
