I got brisket here once years ago and loved it.
I went here for dinner on 08/20/25 and was really unimpressed.
I got there at 530 on a Wednesday and they were already out of brisket. I got pulled chicken on dirty rice with BBQ sauce and rosemary potatoes.
The chicken was barely warm at all. I asked them if their warmers were at the right temperature and two employees assured me they were. The potatoes were about the same temperature.
I ate half of the meal and tossed the rest but I am questioning whether I should have even eaten that much.
Also, the entire building feels like a blast furnace.

Both guys at the counter were super friendly! Great customer service. I got the bowl with pulled chicken, apple slaw, plus veggies and it was AMAZING! Super tender and flavorful. Cornbread was some of the best i’ve ever had too!

We got bowls with all 3 types of meat, they were all vey good but the beef was exceptionally amazing!
The women at the counter was super nice, even gave us a free water, amazing service.
The cornbread was also terrific, before leaving we had to order more food to eat back at the hotel – it was that good!

BBG catered our wedding this past weekend and we had the most amazing experience from the very first phone call all the way through to their family style conversation on our actual wedding day. The food was amazing, the hogs were perfect, and they made everything go so smoothly. I truly can not say enough about this place and would highly recommend them to everyone and anyone. They created a beautiful charcuterie table for our cocktail hour and we even got to sample fresh chicken right before our first dance.

Delicious BBQ. I really enjoyed the pulled pork over “dirty” rice in a bowl. Also enjoyed creamy Mac & cheese. Very generous portions and reasonable price. If you like BBQ like you see in family run restaurants in the South, give this place a try!

What can I say except fantastic. We had BBG cater our wedding event and everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about the food ( delicious) and service they provided was very professional.
