Quality food, you can buy orange juice at any breakfast joint, but here they serve up freshed squeezed OJ!
We had drip coffee, far better than most places.
The staff was top notch! Friendly, polite and efficient.
Serving sizes were good, but the food quality stands out: poached eggs were done properly, the ham was delicious, the breakfast wrap was heavenly. Even the kids waffles and pancakes were better than most sitdown breakfast restaurants.
They’ve earned a spot on our family’s favorites.

Big Bad Breakfast in Miramar Beach is easily one of the best breakfast spots around! The moment you walk in, you can smell the goodness. Their biscuits and jelly are completely house-made and you can taste the difference — fluffy, buttery biscuits and the kind of jelly that tastes like someone’s grandma made it fresh that morning.
Everything we tried was full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and served hot. You can tell they put real care into their food. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and it just felt like a happy place to start the day.
If you love breakfast that tastes homemade and actually amazing, this is your spot. Can’t wait to go back!

Sat at the bar. Irish coffee is amazing. Low country boil skillet ditto. Christina at the bar quick, efficient, pleasant. Nice background music. The folks in the dining room are having loads of fun. Little loud for me, but hey- it’s not church. 😉

First time in Destin, and I love me a good breakfast place. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to visit this one. The food was so good I had a veggie omelette, a homemade biscuit and homemade jam. Best breakfast in town! With their own coffee brand making for a smooth and mild flavor of hot Joe. The actual sugar dispensers at each table adds an extra touch to the Java experience. Not to mention, the mini crafts of creamer. Beats any place that offers meager plastic half & half “teaspoon” containers of dairy. Also tops having to deal with messy sugar packets. We’ve been here twice. First time here we had the Yard Skillet and the Big Bad Skillet… delicious!!! Our second time we had a BYO omelette(bacon, tomato, onions and cheddar cheese) and the Mother of All Biscuits “dirty bird” upgrade. Again, amazing!!! We’re told all the dishes are made in house from scratch and local ingredients… sure does make a difference. Our waitress both times was, Ashley. Great service and very knowledgeable. We’ll be back. Stop by and try Big Bad Breakfast.

I ordered the waffle and chicken. It was only one waffle which I expected so I don’t really have a big complaint about the waffle. However, the chicken was three tiny little strips. I was expecting a decent sized portion of chicken, but it was. The size would be good for a toddler. The taste was really good the portion just extremely small I left still hungry. The owner is either very stingy, greedy, or some frail little woman that thinks that the portions were appropriate. My wife ordered the big breakfast platter and there was more plate showing then there was food on the plate. One little tiny piece of sausage one little tiny piece of potatoes. It’s just a joke as far as the quantities at this place serves.

If you come to Destin and don’t eat here, you missed out! Every single thing was on point. Our server Ashley was super friendly and suggested fresh orange juice which was fresh squeezed and very tasty. The “Yard Work” skillet was fresh and delicious, and the Belgian Waffle with whipped butter was light and fresh and delicious. Their “home brew” of coffee was great. I’m running out of words. Amazing food and great service. Must visit spot!

Seated immediately, ordered and food was served very quickly. Chicken and Waffles were fresh, hot and delicious.
Best thing about our visit was our server Leanna. She was very efficient, professional friendly and very sweet. The restaurant wasn’t super busy at the time so she stayed and talked with my wife and me for quite a while after our meal. She didn’t an excellent job and is very good at what she does. And she’s funny too.
Definitely will ask for Leanna when we go back.

Ashley, our waitress was very nice and good at communicating. Iced latte was good, as well as the breakfast plate. The blueberry jam was delicious too. Very nice staff and i liked the decor inside. Definitely recommend this for a nice breakfast. (you should request ashley.)
