This morning a friend of mine took me to eat breakfast at the Big Bad Breakfast in Homewood. We were pleasantly surprised how busy they were with the weather being so cold. We were greeted immediately upon entering the establishment. We ordered our food, which was absolutely delicious. Will, the general manager, checked on us frequently, the coffee refills kept coming, and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Everything is made fresh every day. They do not just serve breakfast, but they serve a variety of foods and even cater. You can order ahead of time, eat in, or have your food delivered. I highly recommend any location of Big Bad Breakfast because that’s what it was! We ordered the big bed breakfast: two eggs, meat of our choice, grits, and the biggest biscuit I’ve ever seen!

Allways super awesome food, and it was a great view from the 2nd floor. I got the “old school wrap” while my friend got something with poached eggs. The food came fairly quickly, and was steaming hot!

It’s pretty expensive, but overall worth it (especially in this economy).

Had the French toast the taste was good but def left me wanting more bread in my dish but I did enjoy it the pancakes were very good just on those too much to eat they will def fill you up if your interested in a sugary treat and to top it off the biscuits and gravy were a wonderful taste I highly recommend the biscuits! The environment was nice however certain floors are only available by stairs has bathrooms on each floor aswell

Great biscuits and coffee! Tried the oyster scramble and was well seasoned with a nice amount of heat. Diverse menu would definitely try again if one is around.

Delicious! Two teenagers and I give it five stars on our foodie list. Growing up in a place like Savannah Ga with so many good restaurants, I am not a picky eater, but a picky foodie. If it is not good I will say so. The atmosphere was great and service was wonderful. Definitely going to be on our list when we drive home to see family in Georgia.

10 our of 10. We hit this place at THE best time bc when we left the line was down the side of the road – people waiting in the rain!! The table ordered a wrap, a sandwich, an omelette and just a scrambled egg platter. Everything was excellent. The potato cakes we delicious anddddd the biscuits were INCREDIBLE. I took the biscuit home and ate it later and you could just taste the scrumptious butter – even cold. Could not recommend enough – just do yourself a favor and GO EARLY. Food arrived timely and the staff was very kind.

This place is amazing! The food was superb, the atmosphere is nice – music was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to have a conversation. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive, and polite. Definitely will be going back and 110% recommend this place. You will need to budget wait time when planning a visit here especially on the weekend. Well worth the wait!

An AMAZING breakfast!! The big bad skillet had ham and sausage and egg and onion, and then topped off with freshly shredded cheddar cheese. They cook their eggs in butter, which makes a huge difference in taste. House made bacon, jams, orange juice and biscuits were chef’s kiss! I saw a carton of Florida oranges being toted over to the juicer and couldn’t resist. Some of the best OJ ever. You could taste the fresh blueberries and blackberries in their jams. The honey was a rich local honey. You can even get their fresh squeezed OJ to go in a glass bottle. Clean friendly environment. Loved this place and will happily stop by when in Birmingham again.

The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice as well. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait. There were approximately 8 to 10 people behind the bar, and it was super busy. That is no reason to be rude. The employees behind the bar were simply not friendly. I asked one waitress if they had silverware. She asked if I needed silverware. I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t need silverware. One gentleman was simply unfriendly. He was working super hard but an acknowledgment to asked question would be courteous. I advise waiting for a table for a possible better experience.
