We got the fish, Oxtails, Mac n cheese. It was phenomenal. The oxtails were perfectly tender, falling right off the bone. It came with a side of Collard greens and man that was a great combo. Definitely something I will be coming back for soon. The fish was exceptional, crispy, and flaky. Honestly perhaps the best fried fish in the city. Then the Mac and cheese. It was freshly made, so we’ll seasoned, and that cheese pull is to die for. Literally reliving this meal as I review it, despite being full, is making me crave for more.
The best part it’s open from 7 pm – 4am. It’s a hidden gem that I kid you not is perhaps the best late night place in KC. Also did I mention the chef was so nice, and talented!

Very good quality of food service is on point, very respectful, very understanding. Loving caring employees management is bomb. dot com, you will not be disappointed. Please go and visit them and get you. Some food food is fire fire fire. When I tell you baby, the wings some oxtails. And lamb chops is on point, and let’s not forget about them collar greens, y’all better go run and get you some, you will not be disappointed, not at all!!! ❤️

Don’t hesitate this is the place to be! The perfect late night meal not a snack it’s the whole meal! We love the hours because options are few and far after a certain time so this was perfect. I had the big back oxtail dinner with collard greens and jambalaya with cake and it was hands down so good. Oxtails tender and seasoned like somebody grandma from the south made them. Plus it’s available through the drive thru too! Go ahead and get you a plate because we will be back everytime we are in town!

Went just around 2am after seeing this gem on tik tok! Customer service was excellent very knowledgeable about the menu, I ordered the fried catfish and jambalaya, and could not stop eating it, almost had to body slam my man for touching my food, A true big back for sure. No where else in kc can you get this kind of food til 4AM!

Listen l been looking for some good soul food in KCMO for years and no one has ever been consistently good. So far we’ve had fried chicken, whole fried catfish and Lord have mercy them oxtails make you wanna slap sombody, lol! And the collard greens got that ham hock all up in there.
