I love the bagel and cream cheese selection but the customer service is lacking. They are short with customers, regularly have issues accepting credit, and have longer wait times. I keep saying I won’t go back but I can’t find the same bagel selection close to home. With a few changes to their business, this place could be booming.

Save your money, they charge whatever they want and THE OWNER asks for a cash tip. I tried purchasing 3 bagels, not sliced and she tried charging me 15.38 by taking my card. Then as I questioned the amount she said I ordered sandwiches and that all the bagels are considered sandwiches, and next time to buy a dozen. I walked out without any purchase

Arrived at 1030 on a friday. Unfortunately roughly half of the bagel baskets were sold out. Ordered a dozen. When it came time to check out, my card was swiped. The lady turned the reader around and referenced the 4 tip options and the tip jar. I selected 15% percent and then she questioned me about tipping in cash.

Really gone downhill, which is sad. I used to love this place. Lately, everytime i go, it’s a little worse. This will probably be the last time. I got an “everything” bagel with veggie cream cheese. Apparently, “everything” is scant sesame seeds, a few poppy seeds and a couple of oats. No salt, no garlic, no onions, and the bagel itself was utterly tasteless, in general. The bagels are a lot cheaper than those at Brueggers, and the sandwiches are just as tasty. They have some different cream cheese flavors and it’s great. They have some nice seating, and the little muffins and variety of desserts besides bagels is great. The chocolate chip is what I got and it was really good, the sandwich is a BLT with bacon and cheddar cream cheese and was great my bf said. The women at the counter are kind as well.

Should have read the recent reviews before I came here. Completely agree that this place has gone downhill. I walked in to both employees yelling at each other. I paid with card and the lady showed me the screen to select a tip. I tipped 15% then she pointed to the cash tip jar and asked if I had cash to tip as well. Also should have checked my order before I left because it was wrong.

Ordered my usual breakfast BLT. The lady swung the credit card machine around prompting for a tip. I selected 15%. She then proceeds to ask if I have cash? I told her no…I don’t carry cash, ever. She tells me to bring cash next time for a tip. Lol excuse me? I told her no. Flat out. She is the OWNER. She shouldn’t be asking for tips in the first place. That’s for people who make min wage in a service industry job, like I am. I get home and open the bagel, there’s literally no bacon on it. None. So because I tipped the owner on my card and not in cash, she was mad and didn’t put bacon on my sandwich that I paid for. I’m super pregnant and this makes me mad. I’ve been going here on and off for 20 years and I’ll never go here again.

Bagels are good muffins are good, the reason for my 3 star review is them charging .75 cent to toast and our sliced bagels and the last asked for a tip multiple times so I chose put it on my card? She started to tell me only cash tip only cancels my transaction I told her I don’t have cash so she ran it again as Card tells me next time bring cash. I felt that was pretty rude. Just felt like I was a walking dollar sign.
