I understand that the store is short staffed. They do the best they can with what they have. I went in today at 9am and they were out of almost every popular flavored bagel. I asked the clerk, a young girl, if they will be baking any more bagels today and she said no. To be out of bagels by 9am and unwilling to make anymore is troublesome for a business to thrive. Big apple bagels is my favorite but this location specifically has the best customer service. I believe this location closed for a but due to staff but when i came in a gentleman w the best customer service took my order. He sounded so excited and while i waited other customers came in and this gentleman knew who they were and what they usually order. Cant find people like that anymore great food freat service!

Bagels are local and the dairy products are as well. It’s pricey but it’s worth it. A very good atmosphere and a good place to enjoy some coffee and study. They do play music over the radio it’s mild rock and other great songs with good vibes. Also they have clean bathrooms. Actually everything there is pretty clean! I go here probably 3 times week. They have fountain machine (coke products) the also have juice and local milks from the farms here in Michigan. You have options here.

The bagels from here are pretty good, but when we went the employees were not wearing their masks right and people were dining in maskless. Some people also walked in not wearing their masks right and no one said anything to them. If you’re COVID conscious I would advise going somewhere else. It does not seem like a safe place to dine right now.

My favorite bagels. I actually feel spoiled going here and can’t seem to eat other bagels. I used to get bagels exclusively at Bagel Beanery in Grand Rapids and was sad when I moved to Holland. But a Big Apple made up for it!! Jalapeño Cheddar is by far my fav (also they go heavy on cream cheese – I always ask for lighter cream cheese or put it on the side)
