This place was perfect for a quick bite to eat. They have a lot of menu items to offer, coffee and some tasty desert side items. I definitely can’t wait to visit again. My first time I tried the southern sandwich on a blueberry bagel and a cinnamon crumb cake muffin. My muffin was a bit stale but I’ll just pop it in the microwave next time.

The nastiest bagel I have taken a bite of i had to spit it out couldn’t even eat it I had a asiago cheese bagel Kroger’s bagels beat you all from a long shot they need to close it down outside looks like a garbage dump I mean I just left there maybe 15 minutes my Grandma had to use the bathroom she’s eighty-seven years old I had to help her in the restaurant and guess what both restrooms were locked and they said they were out of order why are you even open if you have no working bathrooms this place has went down hill and this bagel shop has been here for years My opinion need to remodel n new Crew n manager will not be back

I rarely post poor reviews, but I could not let this go. The last two times I came to Big Apple Bagel I have noticed it’s decline. This last time, yesterday morning was my last visit. The outside of the building is in desperate need of repair. Junk piled on the side of the building and the paint is fading on the exterior. The interior is very dirty. The floors and most of the tables had not been cleaned, and this was at 7:30am. There was so much dust right behind the cooler right as you walk in the front door, that I almost walked out at that point. I purchased muffins. They are usually very good, but this time there were very dry and not fresh at all. I’ve worked in food service for many years. I know it is a lot of hard work to keep an establishment clean and looking fresh. But this is one of the few breakfast establishments in Anderson Township. Why not be the best?! It’s just sad that the owners/investors don’t see what the public sees.

Went in and had a good experience. Lady who helped us took the whole order. Didn’t write it down. 5 different bagels. All perfect. Only 4 stars because of price. Forgot my coupon. Just lower the price some and forget the coupon you’ll get more business. Better than Panerai bagels. Friendlier.

Very dirty. We have never eaten in before, so maybe it gave us more time to observe. Our order was incorrect, the muffin tasted like a gas station muffin. But the biggest issue was cleanliness. We had to skip over 3 tables to find one we were willing to eat at, not wiped down, the floor was dirty, the coffee station was a mess. Piles of boxes and dust every where.

Honestly surprised the rating is so high. The place was absolutely disgusting inside, the bacon was so hard that it hurt to chew. The bagel was extremely dense (may or may not be bad for you. I don’t like a hard bagel) if this is how the food is, I have no idea how they’ve been around so long. Looking at other bad reviews, this seems to be a trend.

I used to love this place, but the quality has slipped. I go to a different bagel shop now that has a much cleaner dining room, as well as better-tasting bagels, in Eastgate. Perhaps if they renovated a little, I would consider returning; it has looked the same since the 2000s, gradually getting dirtier. I’ve seen flys in the store multiple times.
