From “Swampy” Martinis to Custom-Cooled Pasta: A Date Night Win
If you’re looking for a date night spot that balances consistent quality with a staff that actually knows how to pivot, Biaggi’s is it. We had a fantastic experience that reminded me why this place remains a staple.
The Bar Scene:
We started with drinks, and the bar team knows their craft. My husband’s Old Fashioned was a hit, but the real star for me was the Dirty Martini. I asked for it “swampy” (extra, extra dirty) with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and the bartender delivered exactly what I was looking for. It’s rare to find a place that doesn’t shy away from a bold salt profile!
The Meal:
• The “Must-Order”: I went with the Black Fettuccine Lobster Alfredo. Two words: Absolutely. Divine. The pasta was tender, the lobster was succulent, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. I didn’t leave a single bite behind.
• The “Cajun” Pivot: My husband tried the Cajun Pasta. Now, he’s usually not a “heat” guy, and this dish definitely has a kick. While it was a bit much for his palate, our waitress was an absolute rockstar. Without missing a beat, she brought out a side of Alfredo sauce to stir in. It cut the heat perfectly and saved the dish for him!
• The Reviewer’s Note: As a fan of spicy food, I tried his pasta before the “Alfredo intervention,” and it was spectacular. The spice level was spot-on for what the menu promises—it was just a personal preference shift for him.
The Verdict:
Outstanding food is one thing, but outstanding service—the kind that anticipates a guest’s needs before they even ask—is what makes Biaggi’s stand out.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 2:30 for a late lunch. We got sat immediately and were well taken care of by Colleen. She brought us water and complimentary bread right away. We discussed food allergies/sensitivities and she informed me that the kitchen would have no issue removing the fennel from the salmon and shrimp risotto dish. So, I happily ordered that and my husband ordered the chicken parmesan. The food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed literally every bite…both plates looked like they were licked clean. The only thing I would caution people on is that the bread does have red pepper flakes sprinkled on top. I love it, but my husband was getting “lit up” a little bit. He still ate it though. We really enjoyed dipping the bread in the olive oil and parmesan cheese that they keep on the tables. We left with happy bellies, I would 100% recommend this to anyone, and would come back again! Thank you to the whole staff for an amazing meal!

Every Biaggi’s we’ve been to had been fantastic. This one is no exception. Best restaurant we’ve been to in our first year living here in Davenport. Service was excellent, loved our server, very personable.
The food, oh boy. First was some bread, really good. Next we had some crab cakes, crispy and incredibly tasty. The sauce was really good, nice and spicy. Then came the entrees, Eggplant Pamesan and Cajun Alfredo Rigatoni. Huge portions, we could only eat half. Both were fantastic. To finish dinner off we had the Creme Brulee. That dessert was a platter, the two of us ate 1/2 of that. We took home enough for a whole meal.

Always good food and service. Clean restaurant. Food came out in a timely manner. Water was refilled when needed. Doors are large enough for wheel chairs. They took care of 11 people in our party with ease.

The Alfredo and shrimp were Great! But first they start you off with some onion garlic bread then they give you a tiny plate with olive oil mixed with parmasean and pepper then you dip the bread inside of the sauce it’s juice and good! Then you can get some nice wine or soft drinks. Then you can get appetizers my favorite were the fried ravioli then finally, you can get your main course which I chose the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo I could only finish half of it but it was really delicious! The service was great the waiters were filled with excitement and joy, they brought laughter and jokes to the table! The atmosphere was fancy. I felt a feeling of being wealthy just looking at the chandeliers, furniture and utensils. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. Definitely coming here again!

Our work was able to reserve the wine room for a late lunch and I very much enjoyed myself. Stepping into the room, it was so elegant and beautiful. It did not even feel like the quad cities. Our server was so attentive, and the food was great. We had the bacon wrapped dates which were so sweet and salty and crispy. We also had the bruschetta glazed with balsamic. I ordered for myself the Parmesan crusted chicken salad. I can’t remember the fancy name for it but it was delicious. I didn’t want to order pasta because I also wanted to enjoy the bread served with oil. All in all this was one of the best work lunches I’ve ever been on.

Enjoyed our lunch. Saw some snippy waitresses. Another one was a distraction. The grilled octopus was good. My wife actually finished her Filet but wasn’t to keen on the accompanying vegetables. Ate light for lunch. Long drive home.french onion soup was not as beefy as Bloomington but lots of onion and cheese..

We celebrated a special family occasion at Biaggi’s in Bettendorf, Iowa, and had a truly memorable experience. We made reservations and were seated promptly upon arrival.

Service overall was good, though there was a delay with our main course due to a misstep—our server forgot to turn in the order. To her credit, she was honest and upfront about the mistake, which we appreciated. Despite the hiccup, she remained attentive throughout the evening.

We started with a bottle of Boen Pinot Noir, which we always enjoy—it was superb, smooth, and full of flavor. The Lobster Bisque Chowder came next and was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious.

For our main courses, the Sea Bass stood out—flaky, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The Grilled Salmon and Shrimp were also tasty and well-prepared, and the Lasagna was hearty and satisfying.

We wrapped up the meal with a grand dessert that was more than enough for four people—a sweet, indulgent finish to a lovely dinner.

Even with the delay in our entrées, the experience remained excellent. The extra time gave us a chance to relax and savor the moment. Biaggi’s was definitely worth the visit—and the wait.

While the food had a good flavor, I had the lasagna and chicken Parm combo, and the pasta with the chicken Parm was cold. We also ordered a piece of chocolate cake for nearly $11..The cake was cold when it came to the table and the edges were “hard” as if stale. Perhaps it had been cut the day before, and left to stand? Since it was my birthday dinner, I did not complain while at the restaurant, as I did not want my friend to feel bad about choosing this particular restaurant for a special dinner. I have to admit though, that I was extremely disappointed. I ate there in June and it was excellent… Not so much this time. I would not recommend this restaurant.
