Reviews
The spice level had a proper kick (the good kind ), but it was layered and aromatic rather than just heat for the sake of heat. Pairing it with sparkling water with lemon was a perfect choice — refreshing and just what was needed alongside such a flavourful dish.
The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Portion size was satisfying, presentation was clean, and the overall quality easily justified the price. One of those meals you keep thinking about after it’s over.
If you enjoy Indian cuisine with real flavour and character, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
We dined here specifically to try their Iftar special and it did not disappoint. Right from the soup, everything was very delicious. One of us had the biryani combo and one of us tried the iftar special. I was quite impressed by the biryani portions in both. Even if they decided to reduce that portion a bit for the same price I would still go for it.
The gobi manchurian was also very well cooked and seasoned but yes, it was a very heavy, scrumptious meal.
The indoor seating is quite spacious, good ambience, kind staff.
This feedback and review is genuine, We Wasted my whole Saturday evening traveling from Rosenheim to Bhimas
If you are looking for authentic South Indian taste, please don’t come here.
We traveled all the way from Rosenheim just to eat here, hoping for a good meal. But we ended up spoiling our time, money, and peace of mind.
The food was really disappointing;
1. Cut Mirchi Pakora: Starters were not even fresh.
2. Paneer Biryani: This was a disaster. It was basically just salted rice with plain paneer slices. No masala, no taste.
3. Sambar Idly: Being South Indian, this was really sad. The sambar had no aroma, no taste—it felt like eating plain lentil soup with idly.
4. Ordered extra Chutney for sambar idly: The coconut chutney was very tangy and not good. To make it worse, they brought the chutney after I finished eating the dish. What am I supposed to do with it then?,
We complained about the biryani and reordered a Veg Thali as replacement for panner biryani but even that was tasteless and mostly uncooked. We spoke to the owner, Mr. Ajay Sammeta, but got very confusing reasons. First, he said the “chef is on vacation,” then he said “they were made by the same chef.” It felt like they were just giving excuses. At the end, the manager removed some items from the bill, but honestly, we are not happy. We didn’t travel miles just to save a few euros. We came for good food and a good time, and we got neither.
Note to Owner and Google review support also:
One small thing regarding my review. Please don’t simply waste time reporting it to Google and all; they won’t remove it because it is my genuine experience only. See, I don’t want to keep it there forever and create issues. If the manager or so Mr. Ajay can talk to me and give a proper clarification, I will definitely make some changes in review it myself immediately. No problem at all.
Making excuses isn’t the right way to satisfy customers
10/10 recommend the buffet option
When the food didn’t arrive, I called the restaurant. The first time, someone picked up and said they’d get back to me in 10 minutes. 20 minutes passed, and no one called back. I had to call again and was told the driver would be there “shortly.” It seems Bhima’s is not using Uber’s own drivers but their own direct drivers – which is fine in theory, but in practice it only caused delays and confusion.
And then the worst part: the order was wrong. I paid for Samosa Ragda Chat, but what I got was just plain samosas –, no chat. For the money charged, this feels like a complete rip-off.
After the delivery, I even tried calling the restaurant again to ask why the order was wrong, but this time nobody answered at all. To make things worse, when I had called earlier it sounded like a party was going on in the background and they just packed the samosa instead of making the actual dish never ordering again .
The food is awesome and the dosa as South Indian as it can be.
Highly recommend! Authentic and original. Spicy, oily and not Germanised at all!
We will definitely come back.
Maybe Bavarian politicians should come here first to train there stomachs before their next trips to India
Authentiic food and taste.
