Came to B&G on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever tasted. My mom ordered oxtail and curry goat with peas and rice with potato salad and I had oxtail, jerk chicken, peas and rice, and mac and cheese. We were so pleased with the amazing meal and wonderful customer service. The owners, Gloria and Brian, introduced themselves and were so sweet. Will definitely be returning soon!

This is our go to spot when we come in town. The food is always fresh well seasoned and absolutely delicious I could eat here everyday these is nothing I haven’t tried I didn’t like but the Oxtails are my favorite hands down The service is always great everyone is friendly highly recommend this spot for some good authentic food

Stopped here after work, for a timed Pickup order, ordered for 5:15pm p/u….. got there at 5:13pm, and was politely greeted. Order was being boxed up and was perfectly timed.
I ordered, for my wife, Oxtail Small meal which came with Jamaican Peas and Rice and I chose Cabbage as the one Side.
For me I chose Jerk Chicken Small meal, wit Peas and rice, but I had the Jamaican Coleslaw. EVVERYTHING was WahGwan Spot on. The Jerk Chicken fell off the bone, and the taste of the Grill mixed with the Jerk Spice was Phenomenal.
We will be eating there again. A+++

Gloria and her Husband are so sweet and polite. The food is top tier and literally had me come back a hour later for a 3rd meal (for my husband). The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, so much so I didn’t want to go back home to the kids. If your looking for AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN food LOOK NO FURTHER. We had the oxtails and jerk chicken (x2) Mac/cabbage/rice and peas and cornbread. I absolutely love the corn bread!

This is the first time we are seeking out Jamaican food in Florida and this place had the highest reviews within our 30 mile driving radius. I feel you can get a good gauge of the quality of an establishment by its oxtail. We ordered that along with the recommended curried goat. Our number one go to side dish is plantains, but would you believe that is not an option here?! So we filled in the blanks with four other options, ordering the large size for both meals. Upon getting home, we were surprised by the smaller portions. In Philly at Caribbean D’s, they wrap their container with saran wrap and a rubber band because it is bursting at the seams. That was clearly not necessary with this dish. The oxtail was mid, and the chef recommended curry goat was a notch above. I want to give this meal three stars but the Americanized Jamaican in me wants a fellow Jamaican to prosper. That’s why I’ve given it four.

I ordered oxtails with peas and rice, an extra piece of cornbread, and a banana soda drink. I paid $25, and the portions were very skimpy. I didn’t even get a single vegetable with my meal. The food had no flavor, and the cornbread was awful. Honestly, it wasn’t worth the money. I didn’t bother calling for a refund because it wouldn’t change the fact that the meal was disappointing. You wont see me again.

Authentic, friendly, and the food is hot and fresh. The jerk sauce is not too spicy, but there is hot sauce on the tables. Family run. Felt like we were visiting Jamaica. A gem of culture in Bartow!

I was visiting from Tampa and wanted some good authentic jamaican food. Well I found here at B&G Prestige! I had the jerk chicken dinner. It was delicious . I ordered the oxtail dinner to take home with me . It was delicious too. I will definitely be back to visit. Thank you guys for your hospitality!
