Absolutely enjoyed the food!! Beyond Flavor definitely lives up to its name. Everything is indeed packed with flavor. My husband and I ordered fried chicken, catfish, henny flavored shrimp, candied yams, mac & cheese, dirty rice, and cornbread. We enjoyed every single bite. There’s both outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is limited. Service was awesome! Highly recommend!!

Open air setting was comfortable and well shaded. Staff is friendly and quick, you do have a slight wait for the food to be cooked fresh, though it’s well worth the wait. The Henny shrimp is easily my favorite. I want to preface all of the food was flavorful, hot and tasty. The fish had a crispy exterior while remaining moist and flaky inside. The regular dirty rice was my least enjoyed part of the meal. I can’t put my finger on it but I felt something was missing. Considering 2 people could easily eat from either plate I think it is an excellent value if eating out, and you are supporting a local business. Win win!

If I could give Beyond Flavor more than 5 stars, I would! I had the “O My” platter with the catfish fillets, voodoo mac and cheese, and dirty cabbage, and honestly—it was some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The flavors were incredible, the catfish was perfectly cooked, and that voodoo mac? Unreal. Portions are generous too—$20 got me a plate so hearty I practically had to roll myself out of there. This is soul food done right, and I’m already planning my next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

The food was phenomenal—easily setting the standard in San Antonio! The fish and chicken were fried and seasoned to absolute perfection, and the shrimp… wow. They drizzle this special sweet sauce on it that’s so good I literally ate the shell! The greens were chopped small and packed with flavor, and the cornbread was perfect for soaking up the juice. The seafood mac and cheese was straight fire, and the yams were perfectly sweet and melt right in your mouth. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
But the best part? The owners are genuinely great people—kind, welcoming, and you can tell they truly love what they do. That kind of passion shows in the food. If you’re in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and stop here. Next time we’re in town, this will be our first stop without question!

I finally pulled up to this food truck after seeing them all over TikTok, and yeah… they weren’t lying.
The food truck park is cute…picnic tables, a playground for the kids, and a BYOB indoor area if you’re trying to chill for a bit.
Ordering was simple: I walked up, placed my order, and waited for my number. There were maybe 3 people ahead of me, but the food came out fresh, hot, and fast.
I ordered off the Main Flavors menu because I was sharing with a friend and the portion was definitely enough for 2 people to share. We chose the Voodoo Mac & cheese for our side and it also came with 6 fried shrimp coated in tasty sweet Henny sauce that is so unique to this food truck! My big back couldn’t resist the urge to order the seafood dirty rice, so I did and I regret nothing. Everything is seasoned so well, the fish was nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the quality of the seafood they are cooking up is perfection! Whoever their supplier is, they should keep them around for sure.
Also, Black owned and operated. Love to see it.

I finally got to see what the hype was about. I have seen posts online about this food truck and decided to check it out. The menu has something for everyone who loves seafood. I had the barnyard catch that included catfish and fried chicken. I also tried the dirty rice and macaroni and cheese. The portions are plentiful and the food is seasoned well. I took mine to go and the fish was still crispy when I got home.

Beyond Flavor food truck owes me NOTHING! We arrived about 10 minutes before opening and there were about 5 people ahead of us. Once we ordered, it took about 30 minutes for the food to be ready. Who complains about hot food? Not me!
We ordered the TikTok famous Cajun drip and the..69. Yep, 69 is the name of the dish! The Cajun Drip is an XXL sized potato stuffed with voodoo mac & cheese and topped with fried catfish. Can you say seasoned? Seasoned to perfection!
The 69 is voodoo mac & cheese sandwiched between 2 pieces of fried catfish and served 6 Hennessey shrimp. My son said those shrimp were the chef’s kiss!
If there is one negative, it’s the gnats. Some citronella candles would help keep them away from the waiting customers.
Parking isn’t the best either, but the food makes up for having to circle the block a time or two, trust me.
I’ll definitely be back!

The the flavor drinks, entitled, purple, red, and mystery were beyond delicious. Taste like liquid diabetes.
I got “The Threesome”, which is two pieces of catfish, two chicken wings, and four glazed shrimps.
