I’m just a traveler who happened to be in Tok, AK on the 4th of July and I always have BBQ on the 4th! So, I decided to give Bev’s a try and I was not disappointed. The pulled pork sandwich came with fries and I added a piece of homemade cherry pie. What’s more American than that?! I’ll tell on myself…I ate all of it as it was that good. Of course, I had to talk with Bev and another customer for awhile before leaving and enjoyed that too. I highly recommend Bev’s!

Just passing through and saw the BBQ. I’m glad we stopped. It’s one block off the main highway. We had ribs and a pulled pork meal. Good portions and excellent flavor. The sauce wasn’t too sweet it was savory. Same for the backed beans sides. I loved the hush puppies. Don’t miss this out. When you’re in the neighborhood or make a detour this is some of the best BBQ I’ve had in years.

Let me start by saying I live in Alabama so BBQ is a way of life .. I had some pork sandwich and some brisk sandwich. Hubby and I split it. The pork was fine however the brisket was not so much. The fries and slaw very good. I am a hard one to be reviewing BBQ as I smoke my own briskets and pork Boston butts regularly. Bev provides great customer SVC, making her outside area more comfortable and I recommend anyone stopping in Tok to give it a try. BBQ in Alaska

The food here is very good. Pulled pork plate was top shelf. Hush puppies reminded me of southern cooking and the baked beans were mild with bacon and a touch of bell pepper. The potato salad complimented the meal nicely. Been a long time since I ate this much but I couldn’t stop until it was gone, I’m stuffed. When ever I am in Tok I will stop here. This truck should be a restaurant.

We ordered a new york sub sandwich and the bread was stale and very hard to chew. The meat was cold cut (not bbq but from the freezer). Fries were a total of 16-17 and were very oily.

The brisket sandwich I ate was the best, most delicious bbq I’ve ever had, and I’m a bbq fanatic! The fries were crispy and just right. Bev, the owner talked with me and I found her to be super friendly and interesting. I’m glad I stopped here, and I look forward to more awesome bbq when I drive through Tok again.

The BBQ here is some of the best I’ve had! Delicious food and the owners are so nice and welcoming. There is a lovely area to eat outside. Definitely stop here for an amazing meal and hospitality in Tok!

First meal back in the USA from Canada. Very happy. I love BBQ. Got the pulled pork tacos. Cooked perfect. Tastes like home. Large portions. Great gentleman running the food bus too. Recommend. Might even get more of it today
