We had an outstanding dining experience at Brevardi’s Salute in Sarasota. There were four of us in our party, and we were seated right away, which was a great start to the evening.
We began with the calamari and beef tartare appetizers—both were excellent. Our server, Louis, was absolutely amazing and recommended a fantastic wine pairing that complemented the meal perfectly.
For entrées, one person ordered the linguine scampi with shrimp, another had the veal, and two of us chose the braised beef ravioli. Every dish was outstanding and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
We finished the evening with the lemon raspberry sorbet and tiramisu, and the real surprise was the homemade lemon rumchata—it was incredible and a perfect ending to the meal.
From start to finish, the entire experience was amazing. Louis is a true rockstar and made the night unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

What a find! We decided to have dinner here & due to the wind, we sat at the bar to have dinner. Discovered that they have a fantastic HH every day! My house vodka martini was great & only $6! We shared ate almost entirely off the HH menu – bruschetta, caesar salad, bolognese, & the pasta with mushroom sauce. Pasta is homemade & you can get it off the HH menu! We even got a bread basket served to us! We indulged in profiteroles for dessert. The bartender was wonderful. The interior looks very nice. Outside they have plenty of tables. Would definitely go back to this place.

We got the the lobster ravioli, grouper entree, old fashioned cocktail, and a watermelon mojito. Overall food tastes good. The raviolis alough very good in flavor, was about 5 actual raviolis with 2 shrimps, for nearly $40 in per plate. The grouper was much more of a larger and filling portion for the price. All food was delicious, fresh, and hot. Were busy, took a bit to get out food. Mostly outdoor seating, they have propane heaters as well. Good service. Would go again, just not order the ravioli again.

We were very pleased with the quality and flavor all our choices. The Salutine martini was more of a dessert choice but I’m glad I started with it because I didn’t have room for it after our meal. Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer was delicious and the perfect amount to share for two. We order a Cesar salad whenever we eat out and I have to say this was the best we’ve ever had! We split the Grouper with lobster scampi sauce accompanied with potato and asparagus. The crunchy breadcrumbs on top of the fresh moist Grouper was excellent. My only suggestion would be more of the delicious sauce. Our server Fatih was attentive and polite. All staff members worked together to make it a perfect evening. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed a lovely evening here one Monday with a former coworker/friend who I had not seen for a few years. The weather was delightful. We told our server that we would be gabbing for quite some time and she could take her time coming to visit us for service. She listened very well and we enjoyed our wine, ravioli servings, then decaf cappuccinos at a very comfortable outside corner table. It was just a perfect evening!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience hosting my parents’ anniversary party here! From the very beginning, the restaurant was wonderful to work with during the planning process, especially since I live out of town. The manager, Antonio, was responsive and helpful, making everything feel seamless and stress-free. The food was exceptional — we received so many compliments from our guests! The space itself was perfect for our private party. The service truly stood out as well; the servers were attentive, professional and impressively delivered all of our food orders correctly without needing to ask who had ordered what. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant for a special event or celebration! Thank you for making it an amazing event for our family & friends!

What a delightful surprise! Cold night in the city and we looked for a cozy Italian restaurant.
We were greeted by a warm and efficient wait staff who accommodated our requests cheerfully.
The home made pasta was delish and the bolognese sauce was warm and cozy favored w lovely herbs and vegetables.
The homemade tiramisu was a large portion of pastry soaked in a yummy sauce.
Overall this a restaurant w good quality and tasty food in a warm cozy space worthy of a visit and in my case a revisit.

A group of eight of us made a special reservation for Bevardi’s Salute to celebrate an evening out after some medical issues. The servers were attentive when we first sat down, bringing requested butter for our bread (a few people didn’t want the supplied oil), waters, wines, and so on. Then it came time to order. Somehow the server took 7 people’s orders and skipped person 8 so they had to chase him down.
On the appetizers, the servers were nice and split an appetizer onto two plates for a couple to easily share. I adore beef carpaccio but this was more like deli meat than a nice thin slicing.
Next came the main dishes. The general consensus was that the food was good but not great. The lasagna was OK. The short rib ravioli was OK. Someone had the butternut squash ravioli special and it was bland with tough ravioli. We even passed that dish around for others to try, since a number of us love butternut squash ravioli, and it just wasn’t up to standards.
I also question the serving of several of the meals in hot skillet pans. I’ve certainly seen a variety of plate presentations in restaurants over the years, but a hot skillet pan is just hard to eat out of and fairly dangerous.
The staff was quite busy by this point and not very attentive to if we had feedback or thoughts. So we just asked for the bills. Items showed up on the wrong peoples’ bills but we sorted it out amongst ourselves rather than ask for check redos.
All in all, not what we would have expected from Bevardi’s Salute. I’ll give it four stars since the food was still reasonable, but just not up to the standards we would have thought.

In early February 2026, our yacht club enjoyed a cruise ending dinner at Bevardi’s Salute. Bevardi’s provided gourmet dinners for 40 within their banquet room. All members of our club praised the facility, the outstandingly friendly service and again, the truly gourmet food. We have never experienced a more enjoyable, more successful club dinner event. Our club will be booking Bevardi’s Salute very early for our 2027 Sarasota cruise.
