This restaurant is great and cozy. The name really says it all! The brunch was amazing and the service was fast. Our server spoke Polish and we had a great time! I ordered a burger and it was amazing! The food came out quickly and it was high quality. I would not recommend this place for kids because of the small menu size and huge serving sizes. The menu was small and could’ve had more to it. The muffins were amazing and we had a great time!

This was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The steaks were outstanding—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and truly melt-in-your-mouth quality. The 7oz beef filet, in particular, was exceptionally smooth and flavorful.
The whipped herb ricotta appetizer was another standout, offering a rich, well-balanced flavor that set a high tone for the meal. The crispy Brussels sprouts are a must-order; they had a perfect texture with a sweet and savory profile that complemented the rest of the menu extremely well.
The North Carolina redfish was decent, but the steak options were the clear highlight and are highly recommended over the fish.
Beyond the food, the staff was amazing—warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic, elevating the whole experience. The ambience was exceptional as well: elegant, inviting, and perfectly curated to match the quality of the meal.

The food tasted amazing but what you pay for verses the portion you receive doesn’t quite match up. Both my husband and I ate and we left having to stop by a local bakery for a bagel as we were still hungry- our bill was $54 (with tax and tip) for (2) waters and (2) pieces of toast- I had mine ($18) with this delicious goat cheese spread and his had avocado with (3) Brussel sprouts on top ($17). He also ordered a side of chicken ($8.00) to have some protein and it was very dry. They were both listed on the “sharable” section for brunch- but we ordered 1 each so not to share and have as our meal. Even with the chicken, my husband was still hungry. I want to acknowledge that the service we had and the taste of the food were amazing (except for the side of protein), and I love that they support locally grown farmers- but $18 for my one thin slice of toast alone did not make even the taste of it or the service worth it. We are from a big city with restaurants that also support locally grown. Anywhere else, what we purchased would have been $10 each. We won’t be back. We didn’t remotely complain as I take to Google to review.

If you find yourself in downtown Greenville, Between the Trees is an absolute “don’t miss.” Located right at the edge of the falls, the setting is spectacular.
The atmosphere is matched perfectly by the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming.
As for the food—I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and it was a revelation. It is easily one of the best meals I’ve had. While it’s a Southern staple, this version reached a level of flavor and comfort that was completely unexpected. It was sophisticated yet soulful; truly exceptional in every way.
I’ll be thinking about those grits until the next time I’m back in South Carolina!

This was all around an amazing experience. The online pictures does this place no justice. It has to been seen and experienced. It’s timeless. Great customer focus and service. I was impressed with the care the valet team provided us. I had no idea my valet would be comped with my reservation. They were forthcoming and kind. The art and jewelry pieces are phenomenal. I was amazed. My server, Sarah, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, the special,how the chef prepared food. We were well equipped to order and the meal was divine. She was worried that my ordering a well done steak would take away from the chef’s flavor of the steak. But it did not. It cut like butter and tastes like heaven. Even the staff at the bar downstairs were so professional friendly and attentive. Beautiful view of the water and trees and the sky, just picturesque. Gorgeous. I absolutely loved it.

Highly recommend the Leg of lamb appetizer, bison filet (melt in your mouth), and the cauliflower and cheese side dish. Most wonderful meal ever. I loved that they had Vouvray which is my favorite wine. It’s romantic, the fireplaces are nice and if the weather is nice, sitting outside is amazing where you can hear the falls and maybe see them. Service is top notch. Menu does change seasonally.

I wasn’t very hungry and wanted something light and not too filling, so I ordered avocado toast. Unfortunately, the toast was burnt, completely black on the bottom. I didn’t finish it. There was very little avocado for $22, and the raw vegetable slices were certainly an acquired taste, but that’s my fault for not specifying. But the greasy Brussels sprouts were the final straw. I decided to order a dessert with Greek yogurt and raspberries, waited 20 minutes, and then they offered to put it on a muffin, which I agreed to. In the end, they brought me several small muffins with chocolate chips for $7, served with butter and strawberry jam. I tried one muffin and left the rest. Since I was constantly thirsty, they kept refilling my water glass – that was nice. The coffee was excellent. But I can’t say I was thrilled with this meal for $49. In the end, I left hungry and disappointed. And the next morning I discovered I had stomatitis in my mouth. This happens to me very rarely, and only from dirty dishes. I suspect the dishes there aren’t washed very well. This upset me because I’ve been feeling unwell for two days now.
