Staff very welcoming. Food was good. The buffet looked good and we ordered before the buffet opened. Might have went with the buffet after seeing all the comfort foods. Had a piece of Sand pie. Very good

This is the cutest little restaurant. It’s very close to Green River Lake so we went twice during out 3 day weekend camping trip. We had dinner on a Saturday, and breakfast on a Sunday. We got the buffet both times and it was good and filling. The food is good, and the service was phenomenal (especially from Little Bit). The cost was great and way less than I expected. My favorite was going on Sunday morning and listening to the locals talk. I’m originally from Northern Indiana and love listening to the southern accents! Such a cute place will definitely come back.

We have be n going for years and it’s always good…until Saturday night. The food was awful and the cooks couldn’t keep the hot bar full. The line was out the door. People got tired of waiting. It was a joke. It was very disappointing. I always loved the pies at Betty’s. They changed the recipe and aren’t good anymore.Have they changed ownership?

Betty’s OK Country Cooking was so much better than OK. It was fabulous. We asked a elderly couple next to us what their favorite dish was and it was the catfish. Four of us tried the catfish and loved it! One tried the well prepared chopped steak. Delicious sides ranged from corn, mashed potatoes, hush puppies, cole slaw, and fries. All were excellent home cooked after a long drive. Definitely recommend this place. Their service is very friendly and patient and provided refills and advice on how to order. Left a generous well deserved tip.

Edit: I’ve added a picture of my receipt. There was no mistake. There’s only one Betty’s Country Cooking in Columbia, KY. How pathetic the owner is trying to lie and say they didn’t have black-eyed peas or fried chicken to undermine my review.

Mommas home cooking at this little place on the side of an obscure highway. We passed by this place many times on our trips from Louisville Kentucky to tennessee. We always wanted to try it . For $9.99 I had the buffet, which enabled me to have meatloaf and two sides with cornbread. My husband had all you can eat buffet for $15.99. This doesn’t include dessert. However, you will purchase dessert because they had a plethora of homemade pies that were delicious. You can’t go wrong by trying the sand pie or the coconut pie. My son ordered a fried bologna sandwich with an egg on it and a baked potato. It was thick, slice bologna, and the egg was cooked perfectly. Sweet tea and lemonade to drink was perfect with our meal. Don’t be in a hurry if you stop here, it’s not that kind of place.

The only reason I divide give 5 stars was it took our food over an hour to come out. Once we got it I have to say it was GREAT!!!!

Stopped in for lunch. The country ham dinner was amazing, and so was the Sand Pie. Was so glad that my server Kail told me about the pie. Even though the place was packed she was very attentive to all her customers. Came back the next day for breakfast and brought Six others from are group. We all left full and happy. Great food and service.

The food was great !! Served cafeteria style. Just good home cooking. My husband had the pork chops and three vegetables. I had chicken with two sides . All were cooked perfectly. And you would have to get the pie . These things are huge and there is a good variety. Price was reasonable
