The name of this restaurant tells you all you need to know! We the Cross Plains High School Band came by and thoroughly enjoyed the tasty chicken strips and gravy. This has to be one the best meals we’ve have gotten to experience in the past 4 years. ( Plus the portions were amazing!!! )

We just stopped here on our way back home to Dallas from our ranch in Pandale. We got 2 chicken meals & 6 tenders for our 3 King Charles Spaniels we’re traveling with. The staff was so super friendly… even packed us extra napkins & condiments, knowing we were traveling. Our chicken was DELICIOUS!! Fabulously fried and crispy, juicy meat that was cooked perfectly! Our dogs tenders were a smashing hit, as all 3 “woofed” them down! I tasted them beforehand and let me just tell you- they were awesome!! We will definitely stop here again, on future trips to our ranch!

Love this place service had went down a little since ownership change but getting better. I think they have switched condiments brand, can definitely tell a HUGE taste difference

Chicken wasn’t very fresh was warm but not hot drove 30 miles to get it because I grew up in Coleman it’s definitely not the same hadn’t been to Coleman in about 10 years disappointed I’ll stick with chicken express.

I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember this is the best fried chicken in the whole world I swear. I live in Houston and when I go down to visit family Santa Anna I will drive to Coleman just to get this. When I lived in New Mexico I would drive back home just to get the best fried chicken.
