Best meal of the day! i had 2 fish and 1 shrimp. Idk what’s in the batter or if it’s a combination of good crema with homemade salsa (you actually see the ingredients)… but I’ve never devoured 3 tacos so fast. The fish was fried immediately after our order was placed and in front of us.
The tortillas were not just warm but also had a few char marks which is just beautiful. Lemonade was $1! The owner/manager was there and thanked us for coming, really chill guy. I haven’t tried all the fish tacos in Ensenada but this is pretty much the best fish taco for me. Hope to be back on my next LA stop.

Phenomenal flavors! The fish or shrimp is battered and dropped into the fryer right after ordering, it is so fresh and the texture was perfect. Not under done, not overdone. 3.50-4.50 per taco, and only a dollar for any of the drinks. We had a group of 6 people and fed everyone for only like 10 bucks each. The salsas were So fresh and tasty, the avocado salsa was our favorite.

The fish was freshly fried in front of my eyes, in a huge vat of oil near where you take your order. It’s definitely fresh. What’s lacking is the salsa and toppings section. When I went, there was no AC and there were a few flies hanging out near some salsas. The salsa is okay as well, it’s definitely made in the morning then just sits out literally all day. I found a tiny hair in the cabbage
Overall, good to try but will not be coming back. I like the relaxed vibe inside though. Good and prompt service.

This place was such a cool hole in the wall taco place. Limited menu but so worth it. They only have fish or shrimp tacos and they are $3.50 each.
The outside of the restaurant looks sketchy but the food was amazing. You can watch them make your food fresh and there is a topping bar with different salsas.
We ordered a mix of the shrimp and fish tacos but personally thought the shrimp were the best!
Highly recommend if you are in LA looking for some amazing cheap tacos! Plus they have a cute patio.

Just about like being in Ensenada, only inspected by US Health Department. Meaning safe. Two kinds of tacos, fish and shrimp. 6 kinds of salsa/garnish. Some drinks, no alcohol. Very affordable and delicious. It’s hard to stay away from this place! $15 for four tacos and a drink. Such a deal!

Love this place so much! We have been coming for years getting fish tacos and whatever seasonal potato or corn thing that they’re making. It’s always pretty good and sometimes depending on the shelf it’s exceptional – Like today! This is probably the only place where you can find such delicious food at such affordable prices and love to continue to support them as a community so that they keep having a thriving business.

After a disappointing fish taco at a famous and over price food truck we tried this place hoping to have a more satisfying experience. We were not disappointed. Not only the food was excellent but Joseph, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and interesting to have a conversation with. We came back the next day to continue that beautiful conversation.
