Was very excellent for a fine-dining restaurant. I lived in Paris, France for 2yrs and while the cuisine was good here, it wasn’t quite like the true authentic French food, but nonetheless it was very delicious! Very pricey though- but that’s because it’s fine dining. Great for special occasions! We will be returning for sure. 🙂

Chose Bertrand’s for a special occasion because we heard about the lamb dish. Bertrand’s didn’t disappoint. The meals were delicious and the wait staff wonderful. The lamb was over $30 a plate and took 45 minutes to an hour to be prepared but all well worth it. Our waiter, “Dan” was wonderful too. Great experience.

Amazing establishment! From out of town and dined here for our 3 year anniversary and although we ran into complications with taxi’s, they were extremely accommodating to our needs and saved our table well beyond our reservation. Serving staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered Escalope de veau oscar (veal oscar), Gradtinee aux fruits de mar (Seafood Mac & Cheese), Assiette de Fromages (Cheese sampler appetizer), and the Crepe a la foster for desert…all were AMAZING! We even had a tickets to a show (that we were now running late to) and they were able to ensure that our food arrived in time for us to make our deadline without feeling rushed. We will make sure to revisit Bertrand’s when we return to Erie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Had their Easter Brunch. It was very good, however it was very pricey. I recommend the iced tea and the crepe sundae. Again everything tasted decent, but it isn’t worth the price you pay.

Fine dining at it’s best. Not for the cheep and more mentality. Sunday brunch or their holiday brunches are fantastic.

Food wasn’t good. The service was slow. I asked for substitute the waiter tried to tell me no…at $70 head. .I think they could leave off the garnish if requested.
