Love coming here! This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the area! Me and my family come here at least once a month or more. Food is delicious every time! Staff is always friendly and speedy. Tried the breakfast skillet for the first time this past week and it was one of the best I ever had! Can’t wait to be back again!

This restaurant has had a few incarnations over the years. A growing trend in our town is to have one shift breakfast and lunch only places. While this is admittedly somewhat disappointing for those of us who would like to have dinner, we have several good options for the genre restaurant and this is certainly one of them. We fed some ups and downs in the past with service and particularly the front of the house. But on our last few visits, these problems seem to have been corrected. We were very pleased with our last two meals there and have it in our breakfast rotation for those times when we have the ability to partake of a morning meal.

Everything here is scratch made and it doesn’t lack for portion size. Service was fantastic! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded so our waitress was running around like crazy but she stayed on top of everything. I don’t ever order chopped steak cause its usually just a hamburger covered in gravy and I didnt here either but two people we were with did… I’m telling you get the chopped steak! What you might be used to or whatever your picturing in your head as a typical chopped steak, this isn’t that. Someone with us got the soup and sandwich and she doesn’t normally like diner soup (not sure why she ordered it then) but she said she’s been thinking about that soup non-stop since she had it.
Everything was so good that I don’t even remember what I ordered but it was excellent!
It’s a small diner with limited seating, parking, and waiting room so be patient. Its worth the wait!

We had a great experience! Our server Ryan is Awesome and so are the other staff members. Everyone was working together like one big happy family. Also, our food was cooked to perfection. This is one of the best places to eat in Bradley, Illinois.

Breakfast time! Visited this place a couple times and wanted to do a review. Pretty decent menu, with the breakfast norms pancakes,crepes, waffles, omelets and of course burgers and hot sandwiches. Food was decent, ordered the steak sandwich, spinach omelette, skillet with potatoes and eggs and for the kids of course the Mikey Mouse pancakes and grilled cheese. Our waitress was great. Very attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and a well kept place. A neighbor breakfast with friendly prices and good service is always a plus.

This is our first visit to the area! We travel a lot and depend heavily on reviews. We have found that some reviews are relative to what people have been exposed to. I am sure that there is some truth in all of them. We all have not-so-good experiences at times. With that said…..Berry and Butter is definitely a great place for breakfast! We visited on a busy Sunday morning. We had maybe a 5 minute wait for a table. Ryan, our waitress, greeted us with a smile. Served our drinks, and within approximately 5 minutes of ordering, our food was served! Delicious!

I ordered the Apple Orchard Chicken Sandwich and My husband ordered a steak sandwich. He told me several times how good it really was, and he did enjoy the home fried potato chips. The chicken salad was fantastic!! And the sliced apples complimented the salad well. We both had a bowl of homemade soup added to our meal and it was very good as well. I highly recommend this place. I plan on taking my family here when they come to the area to visit.
Went for lunch for the first time today. Food was good, I had a panini and the chicken wild rice soup. Nice little quiet place. Will have to go back to try the breakfast…. Seemed like that was the popular entree amongst other customers.

First we tried it and was happy. My husband got the chocolate chip pancakes . Very goodnight stack and huge amount of whipped cream. I got the maple egg burger delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly . The sweetness of the maple syrup and the savoring flavor of the burger was perfect then runny yolk of the egg. Fries we’re good, unfortunately the only bad thing was the hash browns very bad my husband couldn’t eat them. Absolutely no flavor very burnt pieces then some almost raw pieces and the mixed burnt home fries in with hash browns very weird combo and very burnt. The staff was nice and my favorite part was the drinks in the mason jars was so cute. Definitely will be back to try more things.
