Love Bernie’s! This restaurant is on our rotation for several things we enjoy there (cocktails, the beet salad, pierogies, the chicken schnitzel, to name a few… things you can’t easily find anywhere else nearby) . Zoe at the bar is fantastic. Love the outdoor seating as well, as sometimes it can be a bit noisy, especially upstairs. Kitchen top notch.
A few things to note as regulars, we enjoyed the green beans more so than the broccolini… And where did the onion rings go! They were so good. Also, it’d be SUPER to offer an Impossible patty option on your burgers for those who don’t eat red meat. This could expand your vegetarian options by just swapping out one ingredient.

We decided to stop here on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. I’m so glad we did. It’s one of the best lunch spots we’ve found. The service was excellent and the seating was so comfortable. It’s not uncommon for these trendier places to have those awful metal stools with the tiny bars. Lots of draft, beer, mixed drinks, and wine options. We ordered the piergois, chicken soup, French dip sandwich, and hot honey chicken sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and cooked well. The only thing that wasn’t outstanding was the coleslaw. It was pretty plain in comparison to the great flavor of the chicken sandwich. Overall, it was one of the best lunches we’ve had in a long time and I can’t wait to go back and try dinner.

Wow! What a gem! Every dish is amazing! Competitively priced with top tier food. The service is incredible and the bar tender knows her stuff! I highly, highly recommend this place.

I went to Bernie’s with a group of friends. I live that they have brunch until three. The food was hot and they had a corn chowder the day I went for soup and it was delicious. The bartender was super attentive and was willing to make changes to dishes for any allergies.

First visit here. We were seated upstairs in the loft. service was prompt and courteous. Appetizers were large! Entrees were great! The sides not so much. Brussel sprouts were dry and overcooked. The French fries were undercooked and soggy. All in all a good dinner!

Came for brunch – we sat outside with a cute view of downtown. Our server was super nice and the food was really good! Was disappointed they didn’t have an espresso machine but the drip coffee was strong and tasty so I can’t complain! The eggs benedict was great and so was my fiancés omelette
Update: We came back for dinner and it was great! Lots to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the Pork Tenderloin Medallions, the blackberry red wine sauce was delicious! We also really liked the cocktails, tried the Boston Sour and their seasonal Old Fashioned, “In Fashion”. Server was amazing again and the interior is nice

Went for date night. First time here. It was crowded but we waited only 15 minutes to be seated. Our server was nice. Ordered drinks once we sat down, they did take a while to come out but they were good. The crispy calamari was really good!! They don’t have a large entree menu but decent selections. I had the pad Thai and it was ok. Didn’t have the authentic taste that I’m used to. My husband had the burger and he enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere. It was a good place to try. Not sure I’d come back any time soon. But I would recommend.

From the calamari starter to the elk buger, everything was just bar food, nothing spectacular about any of it.

Food, service, and ambience were all 5 stars, just a great experience overall.
The pierogi were fantastic, and the french dip is superb. The aus jus is super flavorful.
We all enjoyed everything we had, and our waitress was very attentive and kind. We’ll be back often!
