Mia (the Manager) and David (the Guest Hostess Station) were fabulous. The food was delicious with generous portions and the cocktails refreshing! It was my first time visiting Bernie’s and because of Mia and David’s above and beyond service, professionalism and friendliness I will definitely be back! Also, it’s a kid friendly environment!

I recently hosted a surprise Engagement/Going away party for my best friend here. We had about 40 people attend. The atmosphere was perfect. We were able to get in early to set-up the decorations. One of our servers even helped us build our balloon arch! The servers/bar tenders were so helpful and attentive and the food was delicious! I would recommend Bernie’s to anyone for a party like this.

I got a Buffalo chicken wrap took one bite and threw up in my napkin. I opened the wrap and saw I was served raw chicken. Avoid this place at all cost. Food was absolutely awful. Never going back again.

Such a disappointing experience. Food took forever to come out, over 45 mins for soup and appetizer and another 30 for main plates. I ordered a burger and the bun was rock hard with wilted lettuce. The waitress was super nice and apologetic, seemed like this was a common occurrence for the food complaints. DEFINITELY won’t be coming back, and not surprised by the negative reviews.

My siblings and I just hosted our mom’s surprise 70th Birthday party at Bernie’s in Hatboro last night with 60 guests and it was an amazing time! Eric and his team did a wonderful job executing all of the details for set up as we had discussed. The atmosphere and food were on point! We had a private bar and the girls who worked our event did a great job keeping the space clean throughout the night. The private area we had was spacious and there was plenty of parking behind the restaurant and on the street. My family and friends were all very impressed and most importantly my mom had a blast! I highly recommend this venue for events!

First time here with my husband. we are not coming back. The experience was horrible. my soup of the day came cold. I refuse to get another one. my daughter plate came in glass which is not smart gave me no Utensils for the child. My husband food had flies flying all around him the whole time he tried to eat. His stomach got so upset after eating there.
The person we had put no effort in telling us what’s good there. We explained the fly situation and he said nothing but smile. My husband feels the place is not clean to have so much flies around you while trying to eat.

Very casual feel with modern decoration. Good happy hour specials and vegetarian options.
Bernie’s does trivia Tuesday nights at 7:30. I went with a friend and the experience was OK. Trivia was free but the specials during trivia were not so good and there were so prizes for the winners. On the plus side, the place wasn’t too packed and there was a good diversity of questions.
Came here again almost 2 months later for trivia. I expected trivia to be at 7:30 but when I called to confirm, I was told trivia was at 7:00. I arrived around 7:15 but when I noticed there was no trivia happening, I asked one of the staff members what the deal was. He informed me that it was up in the air and trivia would be dependent on how many people were there. . . seemed a bit odd that that kind of thing would be so last minute. Anyways, it was confirmed that trivia was planned for 7:30. However, the trivia guy was 30 minutes late so trivia didn’t end up happening until 8:00pm. Besides the trivia start-time confusion, the experience was good.

The servers here are always super friendly. The food is good and the drinks are even better! Highly recommend them especially for their brunch and bottomless mimosas!

So this place has a great ambiance. I really like the decor, the setup, the live music during brunch. The menu items are great. Little pricey but on first observation, seemed it was going to be worth it. We sat at the bar as they said it would be a 45 minute wait for a table. Although we saw many many tables open, I figured it’s a staffing issue. No problem, totally understandable. We go to the bar and the bartender just seemed that it was the last place she wanted to be. We ordered 2 plates of eggs Benedict and 2 sides of breakfast meat. After waiting 45 minutes for the food and receiving no communication from the bartender at all, we asked a blonde gentlemen that was helping behind the bar if he wouldn’t mind checking on the food. When he came back he said it would be another 10-15 minutes. I’m sorry but an hour wait for some poached eggs on muffins seems a little crazy. I could understand if they were packed but like I said there were many empty tables and no one working there seemed to be operations with much urgency so I don’t think they were swamped. My friend said “Im sorry to ask this but..” and was rudely cut off by this guy who says “there’s nothing I can do about how long it’s taking they are backed up”. She was going to ask that they cancel the order that hadn’t been started yet because we have somewhere we needed to be. He said I’ll see what I can do. Then mysteriously 2 minutes later our food was in front of us. Weird. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn’t help the situation. The “poached” eggs were just about hard boiled consistency at this point. No runny yolk that you look forward to with eggs Benedict And the sliver of Canadian bacon was paper thin and much smaller that the muffin, more like a garnish honestly. Ironically, the food was cold though the eggs were over cooked. This place has potential, but they are not there by any means. They need to re-evaluate their front end and back end service desperately.
