Berkeley Untapped is one of those places that just feels good to be in. Great drink selection, friendly staff, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe that makes it easy to stay awhile. I really appreciate their community-first approach and support for local creatives—I’ve had my wood wall art displayed in the space, which fits perfectly with the thoughtful, curated feel of the bar. Look, you have lots of options for a drink on Tennyson, but the only right choice is Berkeley Untapped. The drinks are tasty, the vibes are so good, and the staff is awesome. Stick around on the patio (preferably with your dog) or get your drink to-go and wander the park and the shops. Some of my favorite days in the ‘hood have started AND ended at BUT.
If you’re lucky enough to become a regular (which only takes like 3 visits because the staff seems to never forget a face or a drink order) you’re treated like family. You can tell the bartenders genuinely love their jobs and are just generally dope people. This bar is a beacon of light on Tennyson. We <3 Berkeley Untapped!
