Compact, casual spot for Iranian cooking with local, seasonal produce, designed for sharing.

Food-wise? 10/10. feels like you’re in a tiny village home up in the mountains cramped with notes of Persian decor and your uncles knee is on top of you during dinner lol! If you can sit at the bar or the larger tables up front, I would request it!
Ordered: the hummus and eggplant dip, both phenomenal. The hummus is whipped deliciousness, if you had to choose one, the hummus.
The wings were good but extremely small. Definitely not shareable with men.
The mixed grill 100000% juicy saffron chicken, koobideh, lamb and steak – all grilled to perfection. Don’t sleep on the soggy bread underneath the meats – prepare to fight for it.
Excellent meal, minus the uncomfortable seating but you’re there to eat and not lounge. Will be back!

My oh my!!! Where do I begin. We didn’t have a booking and we were kindly given a table within 45 minutes to eat. Every staff member was ever so kind and welcoming. Special mention to Sammy who took really good care of us.
Decor is fantastic, rustic, warm and little pieces of history in every corner.
Food was out of this world. Firstly the presentation of every dish was a work of art itself. Onto the taste, kept traditional but the modern twist in every dish just made everything a delightful surprise. Layers and layers of taste just kept on popping up in every bite. We left extremely happy and satisfied and just feel lucky that we managed to eat on the day!!!! We’ll be back surely!

Berenjak is truly one of those rare restaurants that stays with you long after you’ve left, offering an experience that feels both unforgettable and effortlessly special. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone it’s the kind of place where the lighting, music, and overall vibe make you feel instantly comfortable yet excited for what’s ahead. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive in the best way, and they make you feel cared for without ever being overbearing. Their knowledge of the menu and enthusiasm for the food adds so much to the entire experience. And the food itself? Absolutely incredible. Every dish is crafted with intention and flavour; you can tell there’s real passion behind the kitchen. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner, a special occasion, or just a night out with friends, Bering Jackal consistently delivers quality that feels elevated but still approachable. It’s the kind of restaurant where you find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal. The only thing to keep in mind is that you must pre-book it’s popular for good reason, and getting a table without a reservation is nearly impossible, especially on weekends. But once you’re there, sitting in that beautifully curated space surrounded by great service, amazing food, and an atmosphere that feels both modern and intimate, you’ll understand exactly why it’s so in-demand. Bering Jackal isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience that blends flavour, comfort, and style perfectly. If you’re looking for a place that never disappoints and always feels worth the visit, this is the one.

Tasty Persian food (which is on the pricier side for what it is – but is gorj as a treat)! The chefs behind the counter were lovely and friendly despite being very busy! The wait staff were a little less accommodating funnily enough, and the person who served us was quite militant with keeping our tableware a certain distance apart which was a bit bizarre ahaha… but I’ll chalk that up to it being an overstimulating & busy Monday night

This is too good! It is delicious more than enough! They broke my expectations and ruined my standards! I cannot describe it.
This was the best Iranian food that I ever tried. Definitely!
I waited to get a place on the bar outside, around 5-10 minutes, and they offered me a tea during that time. I was lucky because I came early and alone, other people had to wait more, especially for tables inside.
The staff were very very friendly and nice.
Prices are higher though! But I think even if they make it expensive more I will come back!
Must try!

This restaurant truly lived up to all the hype – nothing short of exceptional. We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The food was incredible, the staff attentive, and the entire experience flawless. We’ll definitely be back (if we can secure another reservation ).

Location was easy to find limited sitting. And bar table perched outside is the only spot available. If it was raining this would have made it impossible.
Food was great, some were okay but the chicken was tender and delicious. Definitely worth coming back and tasting the other menu items. Fresh off the grill.
Service was good, they made a mistake on my order and tried to rectify it. Staff are friendly but no one smiled behind the counter. Friendly and timely.

One of the most interesting restaurants in London, especially in terms of its concept and culture. We really enjoyed it there, and I can recommend it. However, you need to make a reservation, and unfortunately, the restaurant is 200% full, so it’s a shame when they make takeaway meals in front of you while you wait.

Our experience at Berenjak was absolutely wonderful, from the warm hospitality to the incredible food. Bart, the general manager, was especially welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations that really elevated the meal. The dishes were full of rich, authentic Persian flavors that truly stood out.
The only small downside was that the dessert recipe has changed. I really loved the previous version and was hoping to have it again. Still, everything else made for a memorable dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent food, good helpful service, lively atmosphere. Its small and busy, always need to book. Bread is amazing, and good variety of starters and mains. If its your first time take the set menu, and add from there if you need to. The corn-on-the-cob is A-MAZ-ING, portions are plenty. Lamb is delicious. Wine starts around high £30’s, but a good variety. Busy, tasty, you will want to back. Must book.
