Love their $8 chicken teriyaki lunch special. $8.32 if paying with a card. Can’t beat this price, and it keeps me full all day. I also love that that they have thick teriyaki sauce. So many places water theirs down, this place doesn’t! They have all their sauces in squirt bottles on the counter, so you can squirt as much on as you like for free.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was a huge letdown from start to finish. For a city with so many great teriyaki options, this restaurant just doesn’t come close to meeting the standard.

The food was bland and poorly executed. The teriyaki sauce lacked any depth or balance more watery than savory.and the meat was dry and overcooked. Even basic elements like the rice felt like mushy, underseasoned, and clearly not fresh. Portion sizes were nothing special either, especially considering the price.

Service didn’t help the experience. Staff seemed disengaged and rushed, and it felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than a priority. The restaurant itself wasn’t particularly clean or welcoming, which made sitting down to eat even less enjoyable.

What’s most frustrating is that this city is full of teriyaki spots that do everything better, better flavor, better quality, better value, and better service. When there are so many solid alternatives nearby, there’s really no reason to settle for a place that delivers such an underwhelming experience.

I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly recommend exploring one of the many better teriyaki restaurants around town instead.

Why did it take me so long to try this restaurant? Tasty food! Large portions! Great service! And best of all, very reasonably priced! My highest recommendation.

This was our first time going there since new owners bought it. The service was wonderful! Great food and huge portions. Thier fried rice is incredible. We’ll be back for sure

Got beef yasioba for 11.50. Wait was about 30 min. Not really lot of seating when it gets crowded. Food was good and they got a lot of sauces to add on to it. Was a pretty good dish tho

Needs to hire more staff. Was there at 7:30 pm; only one guy working the whole place. (he looked like he had been there since opening). Long wait for food as orders backed up.
Good decor; has potential to be great. Hope they hire more staff.

The food very low quality. The store-bought salad really gave it away.
I still see potential, and I hope management increases their standards.

Great tasting spicy chicken teriyaki. The white rice is always hot and steamed! Beautiful little sit down! Perfect place to chill and eat with best friends. I’m never disappointed here. It’s cheap too. About $8.50 per person.

Portions are quite large and look delicious. The order taker was very friendly. We took it to go. We got the beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki both with extra meat, and an extra side of potstickers.. Comes with two pot stickers in the meals already, but they forgot the extra order of pot stickers. No biggie I guess, couldn’t finish the main meals anyways as there was a lot to eat. Looks great and tastes great, except they don’t put much teriyaki sauce on the meat. Kinda dry. So yeah, it was ok.

Avoid the Chicken Katsu. This was a difficult review, because all 3 of us got the same thing, the chicken katsu. There were 2 problems, 1) Over cooked 2) Prepared like a chicken tender instead of chicken cutlet
.
The lunch special was a chicken bento for $8 and we all decided on the Katsu. It was busy, so maybe our order got away from the cook. Not sure, but the all surfaces breaded chicken slices was different from any Katsu I have had previously.
