Japanese food is definitely my favorite, and this place is amazing!! Bento boxes have lots of food, including soup, salad, egg rolls, sushi, and shrimp tempura. Locally owned, staff is super friendly! Food is always fresh. Pictured: orange chicken, jalapeño chicken, and vegetable tempura bento boxes. BEST SUSHI IN TOWN.

A friend’s recommendation was well worth the visit. Great tasting sushi delicious miso paired with my bento box. The lobster and shrimp were actually quite good quality. Served with garnish and other pairings like ginger and wasabi. Im coming back here when I visit again, the sevice was also great!

I’ve been to all of the sushi restaurants around here. And this by far is the best! The rice is always amazing and the fish is always yummy! It has an authentic Japanese charm and an absolute hidden gem!

By far once of the best experiences I have had at a sushi restaurant! Very lovely atmosphere and it was very clean! The staff was all so friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and cost efficient! They have a great selection of sushi and everything is really fresh! The Jalapeño chicken bento box was everything I could hope for and more! Thanks for an awesome experience! This will definitely be a staple in my family from now. Highly recommend!

Upon walk-in it’s very small limited seating but definitely worth it. It’s melt in your mouth delicious. You can tell the fish is fresh and the service is wonderful. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Bento Sushi, who is, in this critic’s opinion, nothing less than the finest sushi chef in Albuquerque. I will be returning to Bento Sushi soon, hungry for moooore!

Broth is not chicken stock based! some of the simple, smaller rolls of Sushi is the same price as what you find in Grocery store but infinitely better. Love it, permanent get away/date spot. Cozy atmosphere. The massive delivery of Botan Rice through front door made it feel that much more genuine like you’d get with the real good mom and pop shops of small towns.

Staff are kind, sweet, & delightful! The Egg drop was on point . The Jalapeno Chicken & Sweet & Sour were absolutely delicious! The rolls were great, my only caveat is they were heavy on the cream cheese. All in all definitely recommend coming in!

Let me start by saying that we have had sushi in Japan, NYC, Los Angeles, Hawaii, etc. This was very good. We had 2 sushi bento boxes for $40.79 for take out. It was very good. The miso soup was home made (not from powder). Each box had a salad, 8 sushi pieces, an egg roll, California roll , 2 shrimp tempura, fried sushi balls, Wasabi, and ginger- see photo. Since we like yellowtail, they gave us more of that. Overall, better than Azuma.
