Nice dark interior with plenty of seating. Nice semi private room in the front for a larger group. Friendly and fast service. Bento boxes were a good portion except the salmon teriyaki but was expected. The wasabi was freshly grated. I liked their daily specials. We got the amberjack sashimi that was fresh and well plated. Thought the Kama was only okay. Housemade curry was good and a great portion.

We went with a picky eater who only orders the same thing. I love to try new things and ordered a few to with the table. Based on the response, the picky eater wanted to give it a try and ended up eating most of the new rolls. EVERYTHING was excellent. We will definitely be back.

I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento box from Uber Eats. This was the driest chicken but not an ounce of teriyaki on it. Definitely the worst chicken teriyaki and bento box I’ve ever had. So bad it prompted me to write this review. I honestly cannot understand why they have such good reviews or maybe they just completely cook a different meal for to go orders. They also totally missed an important item on my order so my friend didn’t get their dish and we shared the crappy bento. Total waste of money.

Got the bento box with salmon teriyaki and tuna rolls. Also got the katsu don. All items were very delicious and tasted very authentic to food in Japan. The restaurant was cute and quaint inside. Will definitely return!

What a wonderful new addition to the Richmond District!
We stopped in because we saw the grand opening sign and are always excited for new food spots in the neighborhood.
The food was incredible!
Very good quality fish, extremely well prepared karaage, Katsu and skewers and we loved their Beef Sukiyaki which was the first time either of us had tried the dish.
The mochi dessert at the end was truly a perfect send off.
Cute, cozy interior. Very attentive staff and a nice design overall, we will definitely be back for more!
We were so happy we gave it a shot and I hope to see this become a neighborhood staple!

Large menu selection. Fresh Hamachi sashimi. Enjoyed Hamachi Kama. Not a fan of the lumpy gritty wasabi.
