I tried this place in the evening when it was dark outside. I went through the drive through and as I was waiting there was this guy standing near the drive through section. He was giving me a weird vibe and I made sure that my doors were locked and windows shut. There was one car in front of me and another behind me. This guy walked up to my passenger window and was looking inside my window at me. It made me really uncomfortable!! I was debating on leaving because he didn’t this a second time to me. This was all in a span of 10 min. I didn’t see him doing this to anyone else. When I got up to the window I asked the lady if that guy is normally there and i didn’t get a response. They should notify police or ban him from being there! I won’t be going back because of how uncomfortable I felt and the lady didn’t even acknowledge my question.

The potstickers were really good but I don’t think it was worth the purchase if you are getting 6 and it cost $5.95. I got the spicy hibachi udon and it was okay. They put so much of the spicy mayo sauce on I couldn’t enjoy the noodles themselves. The chicken tasted good and I think that was the only thing that I liked out of the entree dish I got.

I got the yaki udon to-go. The noodles were super saucy and chewy. All the vegetables and seasonings were very enjoyable, especially the kick of fresh ginger.

Only thing, the chicken I could tell was leftover, as it had that that noticeable reheated, stale flavor and texture.

Pretty good stir-fry portion for the price. Good value

Crab Rangoons were just OK in flavor but definitely overpriced.

The vibe of the restaurant: Looks like it used to be an old Arby’s or something. There is still drive-through ordering available.
Kiosk ordering available inside.
It’s family-owned.
Fast and friendly service.

The food here is unique yet simple—absolutely delicious! The staff are quick and efficient, and the prices are around $15 per person, still reasonable for the quality. The drive-through is a huge plus, especially during the cold Columbus winters. I’ll definitely be back for takeout soon!

This was a nice, small restaurant. The employees were nice. The food was prepared fresh, very hot and delicious. It was clean inside. They even provide chopsticks if you prefer those over plastic utensils.

Worst food ever. We order pad Thai and 2 sushi rolls and miso soup. The miso soup tested like water with fish sauce . The seaweed on the sushi rolls is chewy and rubbery. And those are the worst sushi I’ve ever tested. The pad Thai tasted like it has been frozen for couple of days. I personally will never go there 0️⃣

Tucked surreptitiously along Henderson Road in a repurposed Wendy’s is a nice little example of Asian fusion cuisine. The structure, layout, furnishings, and decor remains unmistakably the derelict shell of Wendy’s. The crew (some, at least, who appear to be family) working day in and out are largely the same despite my having gone at differing times in the day and weeks apart. Both times I visited, I had the chicken lo mein. The lo mein was fresh, hot, and came in generous portions. The crab rangoon appears to have actual crab (or imitation crab?) inside, not just cream cheese as many of these places offer. The spring rolls were likewise fresh, not burnt at all, but nothing too exciting or distinctive otherwise. There is sushi on the menu, but this is Ohio, and I wasn’t adventurous enough to try it. Others who routinely have sushi will have to comment. The pad thai available is spicy for those who like spicy. I prefer it not to be (a blasphemy, I realize) and stuck with the lo mein.

The dining room has on light, easy listening American radio staples of the 70s and 80s. The Carpenters were playing the first time I was there. The second, Dr. Panda was playing briefly for youngsters before it went back to light rock. This is a family business run by a family. I don’t mind hearing Dr. Panda. Ordering is pretty much as it is at Wendy’s, but with the addition of vibrating, light-up pagers to tell you when your made-to-order food is ready. I dislike the vibrating pagers, but at least they aren’t shouting your name over an intercom. The cashier apologetically explained that they only have one size of drink but offer free soft drink refills. The refills require one to go back to the counter. Bento would benefit from a self-serve drink machine in the dining area. Drink choices are largely the usual fountain Coca-Cola options. I didn’t see any more unusual regional options of bottled beverages that one can sometimes find at Asian restaurants.

Unfortunately, just as the Wendy’s that came before must have suffered from lying in a relatively obscure corner, Bento Go likewise is easy to overlook. Though they have a dozen vibrating pagers, I was the only customer in the dining room on both occasions. I think someone else wandered in the first time I was there as I was leaving. The drive-through is another option but doesn’t appear to be busy either. The business model of M-T-O isn’t fast food though and I’m unsure how quickly one would expect to get through the drive through. Think Steak and Shake timing over fast food.

Bento Go is a neighborhood gem that offers great food and a family-friendly atmosphere. This is a restaurant worthy of more customers and, possibly, investment for expansion to another more profitable location(s) as their top-notch signage and model suggests a chain, but this, so far, appears to be the only example.

Good food, at a decent price, prepared quickly. Staff is polite, and very reserved, so you have to kinda lean over the counter and call into the back. Dining area is clean, but is kind of cold and uninviting.

I have been going to Bento Go a couple of times a year for the past few years and it is consistently good. Whenever we’re tired of cooking or just trying to think of consistently good and quick places, Bento Go always comes to mind. The prices are a good value and I like supporting a local family owned business.

Been going here for 6+ years since we were so fortunate to discover this hidden gem! We love the bento boxes (highly recommend the spicy teriyaki chicken or hibachi) or the sushi. The drive through takes a little of time as they make everything to order, but it is still quick and well worth the wait. Get extra Yum Yum sauce, so good for both sushi and bento boxes. Enjoy!!
