I went here with my wife for a very nice date night. It was amazing there was a lot of awesome servers that made the date extraordinary. It was a spectacular experience ✨️ you enter this restaurant through a hotel lobby. Even the hotel staff was nice and pointed me in the right direction. Good place to go on a date. The food was amazing. See photos

I swore I wouldn’t review anymore. But they pulled me back in. Our server took very good care of us. The food came promptly and everything was amazing. Decent wine list to pair with the food as well. I had the steak. It was prepared just how I ordered and very flavorful. Would happily recommend at stop here. They are beating Rudy’s as of late.

I’ve been here many years ago and loved it. My husband and I was there for dinner tonight and I had a different experience. The appetizers were awesome. We got the truffle fries and crab cakes. The slaw with the crab cakes was delicious. The service was great. The entrees just weren’t great. It was as if it hadn’t been seasoned or maybe they forgot? We both had chicken dishes. They looked pretty, but we were really disappointed. We maybe had five bites and I just didn’t want it. The chicken was cooked perfectly though. Also, there was a TON of food on the floor under the table and silverware. There was a napkin shoved under the table to keep it from wobbling.

Bentley’s was great! We went for their opening day and were very pleased with our experience. The food is delicious, the service was great and it’s a very warm atmosphere. We frequently try new restaurants around Salem and this is by far one of our favorites. The prices are also very reasonable and the cocktail I had was delicious. We definitely will be returning!

My husband and I came in for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Sad to say that much of thefood was “OK” but not great. The crab cakes were seasoned with something, celery salt? that was unappealing. The Caesarsalad dressing was just plain bland. The bacon on the cobb salad was frankly a little gross because it was undercooked. Bacon is the best part of a Cobb salad in my opinion, so that was really sad. The seafood chowder was OK but more like a soup than a chowder and again, nothing to write home about. Living so close to the coast where chowder is a staple, I just expect more from places in regards to seafood chowder. It’s really too bad and I feel bad because the atmosphere is so nice. We lamentedon the way home that we just have to bite the bullet and go to Portland becauseno one seems to be really bringing it all to the table; Great food, nice atmosphere and great service. The service was OK, just not great but I think maybe they were understaffed? Everyone was pleasant enough, we were just left waiting a bit which isn’t really a thing since we were enjoying each other’s company.

The dungeness crab cake and slaw appetizer was delicious. I am sure the ribeye would have been equally delicious if it had been cooked rare as I ordered. It was delivered medium so it was medium well by the time I could eat it. The waiter told me as he delivered it that I got the last ribeye of the evening so I knew there was no point in sending it back. It was okay in flavor but overall quite disappointing as it was not rare. I ate about half of it and then could not eat anymore. Not sure I will go back again even though I am staying at the hotel for 2 weeks… It would have been convenient to eat there each evening…

They have the most amazing speciality drinks that change weekly and I love it. The thin mint one is my favorite and so is the peanut butter mocha. I wish all employees would remember to ask about your phone number for points on your virtual punch card but otherwise love Bentleys. Wish they had more locations.

I went to this restaurant 2 times in the one afternoon/night I spent in the adjacent hotel, The Grand Hotel in Salem (also a Wow) I sat at the bar and had steamed clams and toasted crostini bread. Then later that night I ordered the wood fired Marguerite pizza. Both selections were outrageously good. The bartender was quite attentive and served great cocktails and wine. This is the spot to be in Salem, OR.

Food and service were great, but having an indoor fire blazing away when the air conditioning is cranked up and it is over 100 degrees outside and the air is thick with wildfire smoke is nuts! Please consider saving the fire until November or so.

Wonderful to have this long time favorite open again. Buffalo Trace Manhattan was perfect. Ceviche appetizer was a bit spicy but perfect after adding a little pineapple juice. 5* on the crab cakes. Service was impeccable. A relaxed, quiet, pleasant atmosphere.
