The cheese burger was huge and worth the price ($8.95) but the special of the day was the beef commercial and I won’t be going back based off that.
The roast beef was cold, the mashed potatoes were watery and cold and the corn taste like it was fresh out of the can.
Chicken stripes and fries were hot and crispy. Do that was good.

Odd environment which takes you through the convenience store to sit and dine, but friendly staff who are willing to accommodate substitutions like corn on pizza and tots instead of toast and ham. Decent food, local color, with a view of the lake.

This place might be run by the nicest people I have ever encountered. They went way out of their way to get us out of a bad situation, and we remain full of gratitude. While stranded during a recent storm, we sampled some of the breakfast items which were hot, freshly prepared, and delicious. Whenever I find myself in SW Minn again, I will go out of my way to visit – hopefully under non-blizzard conditions. Thanks, Benson’s!

Found this with a Google search. We we’re looking for a lunch stop. Food was really good. Wait staff attentive. I had a Reuben, which was toasted just right and I liked that they put the dressing on the side.

Stopped by here to take refuge during a severe thunderstorm; courteous staff – even offered us towels to dry our bikes before heading home. AWESOME pizza!!!
