Benny’s is a fantastic spot for dinner. The food is fantastic, some of the best Italian food I have had in the last 10 years! You have to try the pretzel garlic knots and the chicken parm was perfection. The staff are super accommodating and professional. If you are in Portland you have to stop and try!

It reminds me of growing up in western NY. Atmosphere and food are full on Italian-American! So good. I got linguine and clams. The family got spaghetti & meatballs, Chicken Parm, and meatball parm sandwich. Finished up with the BEST cannoli I’ve ever had (sorry Mike) and an excellent tiramisu.
Definitely coming back. If you want authentic Italian American fare…this is the place.

We set at the bar.I would encourage you to make a reservation if you want a table.

Had a great meal at bennys. We were surprised to see an eagles sports bar this far from pa, but it turned out the owner is from south philly. Small world but great pasta!

Came here once before and my husband and I loved the food. This time after a long day – we did takeout and get home to see not even a full container of food. I would rather wait longer for them to make more and fill the container, over just giving me what was left.
We enjoy the food but for what we paid, expecting more. Pretty disappointed.

So if you are taking out – check your food before you leave.

We went to Benny’s last night before our show at Cross Insurance Arena. Dinner was great and large portions. I would for sure split the sandwhich if we have the chance to go again. My drink was amazing and service was great too. Made a reservation online which was easy to do. Great atmosphere as well. I hope to be back when we are back in Portland visiting!

The host and servers are wonderful. Cosmos were delightful! The food was horrible. Overly salted (and we love salt!) the pasta for both dishes was over cooked — goop. Love their sister restaurant Ramona’s go grab sandos there!! Maybe it was just a bad night

Good dinner spot. Shared the meatballs appetizer and a cheesesteak for our main course, both were delicious. Cocktails were great. Cannolis for dessert were also very good.

10 out of 10. What a great addition to the Portland food scene! First time here with my wife and we had a great time! For apps we had mozz sticks and garlic knots…. I mean take me back to happy childhood. They were fresh and home made. Great starter. I had the classic Negroni and my wife had the special martini with the gard brine. So good. We had linguini with clams and sausage pasta. Excellent! Our waitress was great. She checked on us regularly, gave awesome suggestions, helped out with wine… everything you could ask for.

We already made our next reservation. I highly recommend a visit. For you Philly people. Think modern Ralph’s….. for people who don’t know what that means…. It’s a compliment.

Went here with a friend tonight and asked for a place for the two of us to sit. We got there at around 8:30 on a Friday night, there was no wait, and nobody came in after us. We ordered drinks, from a pretty unfriendly waitress, who gave us a pretty hard time about not ordering dinner. We ordered two appetizers, which were just okay, and our drinks were just fine. The waitress came around multiple times and very rudely suggested we buy more food and drinks. There were empty tables and an empty bar so it’s not like we were holding anyone up or preventing them from getting buisness. Also this is nitpicky but the lights were very bright for a bar/restaurant at night, it was a bit overwhelming with how loud it was in there. Very disappointing. Why have cocktails on the sign if I’m not allowed to order cocktails??? It’s a bar???? Definitely will not be going back here or suggesting it to anyone.

Edit: I also noticed that no one around me was eating their food. Which was very strange. Our olives and motz sticks were VERY salty so that might be why. Very weird.
