The staff here were pleasant. I enjoyed the cheese pizza. The slices were huge, so well worth the price that I initially thought was way too pricey. I also enjoyed the IBC cherry lime aid bottled beverage.

After I received my food and was seated I noticed an employee behind the counter untwisting hair and handling putting and pulling pizza out of the oven.
The individual tending to hair raised hygiene and food safety concerns.

Worst customer service of my life! Absolutely the WORST. Stopped in after the opera for a slice, as is tradition…the kid at the front was SO rude and sarcastic, which is saying a whole lot as a New Yorker. It is a shame really, because the pizza is decent. Their whole schtick is the size of the slice, and do not get me wrong, they are big. But big does not always mean better. They do a good job on imitating the original. The sauce and dough are a bit bland but I would say decent. The horrible attitude from the kid ruined it all for us. We will never go back.

Benny restored my faith in Raleigh’s ability to make a worthwhile pie. As someone known to gulp 3-4 normal sized slices with ease, one single slice stuffed me satisfyingly. The crust is the perfect amount of chewy and poofy, and the ratio of cheese to sauce is my ideal combo (slightly more cheese than sauce, but a very tomato-forward flavor). Not only that, but a kind stranger pointed out that I had dropped my wallet instead of stealing it behind my back. That’s the kind of atmosphere Benny creates. Pleased to have gotten this recommendation, even more pleased to pass it on.

Heard about restaurant online. Tried it and immediately noticed pizza had a strong taste like garlic or maybe a sharp cheese. It was too strong. Then noticed tables were dirty, and the bathroom was gross. Went to counter for a drink and noticed it was dirty, before I finally noticed the B sanitation grade. I usually look for the sanitation grade 1st. Don’t see myself going bad. Very mediocre, $6 a slice, and don’t see myself going back.

Stopped in late for pizza and had such a great experience. The slices were delicious and exactly what we needed, but what really made it special was the service. Bill and Ryan were incredibly friendly, funny, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and turned a simple pizza stop into one of the highlights of our night. If you want great pizza and genuinely awesome people behind the counter, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back.they definitely deserve a raise

First time, the pizza was okay, nothing really stood out. Very affordable, $6 for a drink and giant slice. Workers were a bit standoffish and seemed a little understaffed. I’d like to come back another night since my friends that are regulars said normally it’s reliably better.

Pizza was really good! Slices are huge and prices are great for this day and time. Service was good. Great outdoor seating area with more seating than inside. Minimal options on pizza toppings but still a very good choice. Great location for walking around downtown.

Decent pizza, great breadsticks, mind blowing size, nice staff, but were blasting pretty inappropriate and vulgar music while they were kids there.

We enjoyed our slices, very tasty. The young lady who took our order was great! A thorough cleaning is definitely needed. The bathrooms were overly dirty and the toilet seat was falling off.
