Had my birthday celebration at Bennett’s Westside Grill in Rocklin & it was absolutely amazing. From the 1st call to the manager Tom, who went above & beyond in every way, to our server Tic, who is one of the best servers we have ever had, this was more incredible than I could have ever hoped for. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the food & drinks are fantastic & the whole team at Bennett’s in Rocklin makes you want to come back again & again. They have the best specials all throughout the week & our party of 20 took advantage of the Monday night “Wine & Dine special for $65, which included two main entrees, salads & a bottle of wine”. Every guest at my party could not stop raving about how awesome this restaurant is & how perfect the entire experience was…Bennett’s Westside Grill is now our most favorite restaurant!

Honestly, we were disappointed when th the place. I ordered steak the server showed me the size like 14sm just said it’s thin. But it was super small like 6 timy slices. When you put it together it’s like 2-3 sm probably. It’s too tiny honestly. It was tasted ok in general. But we will not come back probably.
P. M. I sent email to the person who replied- never got any response. So looks like they commented only to make appearance.

Great restuarant. My husband and I went for lunch at this restaurant. It was 1st time here, and we are awed by the beautiful elegant restuarant. You will not be disappointed here. The food is delicious, tastes like it has been cooked especially for you with love and care. I ordered the jalapeño margaritas and I have never tasted the margaritas so delicious. The service is great, the waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The atmosphere inside the restaurant itself is very inviting, cozy and elegant at the same time. We will definitely come back here soon.

Skip, skip, skip!
If my date took me here, I’d think they’re a loser @_@
Wanted a steak and found this online, their prices are by the pound… for steak! Not by the ounce, like those places, what do they call them… oh yeah, a stakehouse!
$50 per pound, and they come to show them to you for you to select. Hard pass.
Ended up with a smoked salmon salad where the salmon was pulled apart and cold, with bones still randomly sprinkled throughout, in case you were wondering if it was store bought or made in house. At least, if they bought their salmon at Cysco it wouldn’t stab me while eating my peaceful looking trap of a salad.
Mushroom burger was the texture of a sloppy Joe. It was tough to keep on the bun.
Go to a real steakhouse in Roseville, even if you have to wait.

We came to Bennett’s Westside Grill for my birthday dinner, and the experience was absolutely wonderful — especially thanks to their incredible manager, Candy.

Candy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. She was attentive, kind, and truly cared about every detail. What stood out most was seeing her personally cleaning the restroom mirrors and then assisting an older guest with a walker to the restroom, waiting for her, and safely escorting her back to her table. That level of compassion, humility, and dedication is rare.

It’s clear that Candy leads by example and genuinely cares about both guests and her team. Bennett’s is incredibly lucky to have her. Thank you, Candy, for helping make my birthday dinner so special — we will absolutely be back!

We visited Bennett’s for Mother’s Day. The patio was lovely and made for a pleasant atmosphere. The food was good, but not quite great—overall, it didn’t stand out enough for us. We’re glad we tried it, but we probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

Attended party in patio area. I enjoyed the good service as well as the brunch selection that included sliders (turkey, roast beef). Great place for event or any occasion!

Visiting family in Rocklin and they heard from others that this we need to try this restaurant. We made reservations for a group of seven just in case. With the NFL playoffs on screen we were seated right away.

The service was great, very friendly and helpful in helping us making decisions. There are various menu options available and everything we ordered didn’t disappoint. Great appetizers, soups and salads. The portions are ample so much that we did not have room for desserts.

Honorable mention are the Poke, French Dip, Prime Rib, and the Redfish.

We often go to our favorite places on Friday night. We decided to do something a little special tonight for a nice change. Well, that didn’t work out to well. My wife had mahi tacos, and I had prime rib at the strong advice of our server. We also got the triple dip appetizer. The highlight of the night was the triple dip appetizer.

The tacos: a slab of mahi versus minced or chopped. Menu said Chipotle aioli but I’m convinced it was lemon juice salsa (which hides a lot of sins). The tacos were served lukewarm and were overpoweringly lemon flavored. Completely masking any other flavors. Pretty awful really. She ate one of the two.

The prime rib: I ordered medium rare and was served something between medium well and well. I worked at a steakhouse and know that the roast is rare and you cook it up by soaking the slice in a pan of hot aujus to the desired level. So our server apologized and brought another serving. This one was indeed medium rare but the way they did that was to to simply not dip it in the aujus at all. So it was dry and actually needed salt. The outside of the roast was seasoned but that flavor didn’t penetrate. It wasn’t tender like prime rib should be, instead it was dry and dense. Not tough per se, but not enjoyable either.

Unfortunately this restaurant must think they season food perfectly and there is no need for condiments at the table, because tables didn’t have any. So I couldn’t salt the prime or pepper my salad or the mashed potatoes. The potatoes were actually pretty good. I ate about half my meal and pretty much lost interest.

When our server returned we subtly let him know we were not very pleased with our meals. Maybe next time he said. He quickly brought the bill and never asked us if we wanted any dessert. Just like, yikes, let’s move these guests along. We did not really complain but I think he understood we were not very happy about our meals. Back in the day, when I was a server, I would take the appetizer off, comp the drinks, or offer a free dessert. Something to let the customer know I cared. In this instance, nothing. Just a quick $102 check. Did I get $102 value? Absolutely we did not. Will I go back to Bennett’s? Not likely. Would I recommend it? Nope. Is the three star rating generous? Yep.

Friendly, accommodating service and a cozy atmosphere, but the food was terrible. The taco beef tasted bland and boiled, barely any seasonings or event salt, the salad was plain, and the wings were overly drenched in BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese and pepperoni pizza were comparable to basic chain or frozen options. The quality doesn’t justify the prices — a one-time visit for me.
